  • Welcome back to the channel & to another Forza Science video! Today we test the new launch control feature to see if it's faster or slower than trying to launch manually. Today I take 3 types of drive types to see how much the new launch control feature affects, front wheel drive (FWD) rear wheel drive RWD & all wheel drive (AWD) I then put them through several performance tests to find out which was the fastest way to launch. Let's see what happens!

    For anyone wondering, the left side is the normal launch & the right side is launch control by the blue 'LC' letters that highlight when you engage it. Hope that's helpful! :)

      Tbh the launch control feature is really useful for more inexperienced players. For pro players it doesn't make much of a difference since they already know how to control the grip/power.

      Hey right quick it may not matter but when I watched the 1 mile run the right side should of came in at 21.665 and the left 21.666. only reason I say this is because I paused the video right when they past the finish line and you can tell if you look at the black line literally right after you pass the flags that they didn't come in at a draw. But again it may not matter just wanted to let you know. 😊👍

    A really great feature :D, I just really wish that they improve upon it for some cars but that aside, its way better than the one we've had since launch.

    You can only rev in Man, Transmission the Cars for Race Start but not in Automatic Transmission like Ferrari/ Bugatti for more Realism you have to start with 0 Rev on the Automatic Cars

    Unless ur AWD car makes a lot of wheelspin, do manual or try to max the revs but don't do this for 2WD cars.

    How are you able to rev the car while motionless without pressing the hand break and activating lc, which causes you to hit the soft limited around 4000 rpm?

    • @Stefan_xd
      @Stefan_xd Před rokem +1

      Launch control is the one where 'LC' is lit up in green in the middle of the speed gauge.
