Thanks, I was blessed with nice weather that day and a very varied landscape, it is a mountain that is often overlooked but has a charm all of it's own. The music simply added to an already stunning landscape. 😊

Love watching your videos, I usually go hillwalking around the Lakes or the Cheviots, but living in Consett your videos have made me realize what is on my doorstep. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, it is lovely in our area and I used to often overlook the far West Durham area, but once visited I was hooked plus it's so quiet, definitely more videos of this area planned!!

    Another great video Duncan.
I had a similar fence line bogtrot on Saturday between Hagworm Hill and Binks Moss 🙂 with the accompanying solitude that often comes with it!
    Cheers 👍

Yes a lot of my videos involve walking the fence, in fact the exact same fence you walked along appears in my Raising Standards video, it is such a lovely area 😉

Thanks, I love it in that area, you sometimes never meet another person for hours, the solitude is absolutely fantastic.

Fantastic video really enjoyed that and what a stunning area. You captured the scenery well, my wife and I visited Burnhope last week and love the place, we plan to do the walk you shared. Thanks for sharing, you have a new subscriber here. Atb, Garry.

Thanks, it is a lovely area, ideal for getting away from it all. Burnhope is ideal as a base just to explore in all directions, hope you have fun on your hike in the area 😊

Hi there...Found you last night while Iwas looking for anything on Durham...Love your videos and your photographs are magical. The walk was really special and the views spectacular. Upset that the wooden walkway was smashed to smithereens ...someone could really really hurt themselves there.. Glad you took the sloppy way ...much safer ....looking forward to some more great videos and outings...

Thanks, it is a spectacular place up the top, so wild and remote. It can be dangerous on any hike but preparation helps to minimise it, glad you enjoy them 😊

great video, i am enjoying all your vids.. While i've pounded across all the NP hewitts and their accompanying bogs I was always glad to see a wall as opposed to a fence line as it more often than not more solid ground ahead.

Yep, gonna be honest I share your feelings on that one, I love the challenge of visually plotting my way round the bogs but at the end of a long hike its a relief to find a wall with solid ground around it, allows for some power hiking towards the end 😊
