Off Grid Solar Power for my Workshop! WattCycle 100ah LiFePo4 Test &

The solar workshop finally gets a battery upgrade - this is a full test and review of the WattCycle 100ah LiFePo4 batteries. I put the batteries through extensive cycle, capacity and load testing. Finally, they were installed with an inverter and solar charge controller as part of a permanent off grid power system in my workshop. They are running air conditioning, lights, dust filters, shop tools, computer and more.

I just bought 4 of those for $140 each. I also bought 2 other 4 battery sets that seem to be lesser quality. The last set I'll have to test because they don't even weigh the same. Lol. Thanks for the videos.

This battery is pretty lightweight and portable. I can hold it with one hand. I use it to charge my device in a field campaign and the voltage is perfect for my purpose. It is so convenient to use it in this situation. I do not need to carry my large battery of 50 lbs around anymore.

How do you like the inverter

@thomaswallace3987 Short term impression: it is a tank, fan is on non stop so cooling is not a problem, runs a 5000btu non stop for hours with no complaint. The display is hard to read but that's forgiveable.
Long term concerns, there are reviews on amazon where the inverter burned out in just 3 months, etc. so my question is how long will it last.
Max load on this inverter will be 500-750w. No plan to run at 1200w. So I hope it lasts a long time
