So nobody’s gonna talk about how fabulous that podiatrist’s pants are? I’m obsessed 😍
Girl her whole outfit
The heels are also right in every way
Right!
Her whole outfit is great! Especially the shoes!
The whole look is great!
I have no idea why I clicked this, but she's really interesting and clearly explains things... I'm not mad I'm here
I feel the sameee
PuddingCat101 that’s totally me
Dude im a gay dude so I am baffled as to why I clicked
Literally same
Same😀
Please bring her back and ask her how to walk in heals with less pain
💯💯💯
Slow down, take smaller steps, break in new heels around the house before the day you intend to wear them outside. And of course, heel-toe, heel-toe. But *the* most important thing to remember: take smaller steps. I say this as a 39 year old Londoner who wears heels to work every day, my mother from London always wore heels to the office every day and her mother who was a hair dresser working in London wearing heels to work every day. Same advice I've given to my daughter wearing heels to events starting 13.
I find it becomes less painful overtime. I think the pain is always there, but it is something your body gets used to. If you get good quality shoes, they are usually less painful because the insole has padding and is usually leather. If you want to wear stilettos, having a platform also helps with pain.
You're Muslim, you're not supposed to look sexy outside the house, you don't need to know this.
@@TheUrbanEpicure Just because she has a Mohammed in her name doesn't mean she's a practicing Muslim. I knew sisters with Muslim parents in school, one was practicing and covered her hair and dressed the part. One wasn't a practicing Muslim and dressed like other girls at school. Their parents were Pakistani and when I met them, they respected their daughters had a choice. They were a lovely family.
She's really into the shoe to bra analogy...
PuddingCat101 it’s something I never thought about before
Relatable for majority of women
Painful but looks cute
she's not wrong...
Yea, but I like my bras to be comfortable and my shoes to look good.
I don't care how, why, or what part of the foot we discuss next? But can we PLEASE have this specialist back in again?! She was so pleasant & informative!
Sarah Grafford agreed!!!
Agreed
Anyone else feel the power from just the way she sits??? Like, Imma believe everything she says type of power
Yess! It adds up to show her strong character 👍🏻
Totally! She's self assured but puts everyone at ease right away talking about and touching things that a lot of people feel gross or embarrassed about. Love her!
@@poojasan7755 yazzzz! She's a Boss
Is she power sitting ? 🪑
A posture specialist came to my old job once and she told me that so many women have hip and knee problems because we squeeze our knees together when we sit. She said sitting with them spread apart, feet flat on the floor is more comfortable, and honestly, kind of powerful. You're taking up more space!
This video was honestly SO informative, but I do understand the comments about those with flat, wide, or very narrow feet. Can we get a part two with this lady? She was excellent!
Yes part 2 please
Didn’t the first girl have flatter feet ?
@@nataschalia She did but the issue they were addressing in particular wasn't specific to individuals with flat feet.
She needs her own channel. I would subscribe in a heartbeat.
YES I have the flattest feet ever. my foot makes complete contact with the floor but I love how a heel makes me look and feel. It would have been really helpful if they talked a little more in-depth on helping those of us with a flat foot problem.
I like this lady!! She speaks very clearly and explains everything very well, definitely interesting!!
Definitely
Well she is a doctor
She's so adorable indeed!
@@dessyslavavassileva8357 She's adorable, alright! I love her bob haircut
Take a moment to appreciate her outfit. Yeshhh Doctor
I wish they had a girl that had flat feet :( like no arch
Dani Moen yes that’s what I was waiting for
same
Same 😔 or like wide feet too.
Yep that’s me
yeah and narrow feet
Wow, I'm glad that the CZcams algorithm showed me this. I wish more people would watch this video. The tip about having a shoe repair shop adding "invisible support" is a genius thing and something I never even thought was possible.
queenwyntir I wonder how much that costs. Like if it would be worth it for most shoes or if you should reserve that for a higher quality more expensive shoeS? Especially right now with fast fashion, you can get super cheap shoes.
@@catherinewashere1 a valid point. I myself would save it for shoes I cared a lot about or wanted to keep for longer. Deffo would not be putting extra effort into like....H&M shoes. It also probably isn't /that/ affordable :/
@@queenwyntir I had mine done for under about 25 cad? I did it a couple years ago with a cheap shoe from H&M. It's pretty easy with cheap shoes because they are just clued on versus stitched. any shoes with removable linings (ie pumps etc...) you can stick it under which works the same as well.
@@catherinewashere1 you can do it yourself, the only reason she suggested a pro is because they were sandals and you'd see the pad. Those pads have a sticky bottom and you just adhere it to the inside of your shoe.
I had no idea those silicon pads that go around your toe even existed! So informative!
I only knew they existed because I have seen something very similar for dancers especially ballet dancers.
MarvelousSandstone Those cover all the toes
I found out recently after the ball of my foot started hurting
Scarlet Rosetta that person is not talking about toe pads. There's spacers that have that silicone flap as well.
Any info about where to buy? Good brands?
I ran a shoe store for 8 years and the "after 5pm rule" is spot on . I told that to people constantly ! Buy shoe when your feet are swollen from the day. And if you can, ALWAYS buy a 1/2 size bigger to be able to put gel cushions on the front. As for high heels, NEVER EVER believe a sales assistant that tells you they'll stretch if they're too tight. They will never stretch enough to be comfortable !
Everyone is talking about her beautiful outfit. I think the real magic is her smart posture. She looks gorgeous 😊
High heels... the bread and butter of every podiatrist (actual quote from a podiatrist at the the clinic I worked at)
Can we talk about the Dr’s outfit. GORGEOUS!
thank you for your kind words, wishing you all the best
Protect this lady please!! She’s saving all of us
What is this transition from quite peaceful music to SOME DAMN METAL LOL
Hahaha I noticed too 😂 I was like, are my neighbors playing music? Oh no they're not..
Hanna van Wagensveld echt he...dacht al..zijn mn oren kapot haha
I’m gonna need links to all the foot pads she recommended lol
Same! I have all three of those pains.... think i just need silicone socks!
@@Tivaala1 I understand you on a different level!!! Lol
@@Tivaala1 😅
Yes especially the bunion pad
So no body is gonna talk abt how Gorgeous the Doctor's shoes r ??? i want them :'(
Yeah, wheres the link to her outfit?
This foot lady is really cool
Foot lady lol
@@GirlWithNoName09 😳😳🤔
Okay so every pair of heels I have need some type of padding. Got it
You can probably get away with one or two sets of padding/insoles and move them between shoes.
Emma Blomqvist yeah but I may forget to move them, so I’ll just buy more.
buy padding in bulk, it’s cheaper! just keep in storage when you get new shoes rather than buying padding each time you get some heels.
Not really, no. Only if store-bought shoes don't really fit your feet. Just like with clothes: some can get away with off the rack clothes that fit them perfectly, and some need to alter them.
I love this woman. She needs a CZcams channel of her own 😤
Indeed... I looked at the name and was a bit disappointed. I wanted to watch more videos from her. 😌
I love all the heels presented there but nothing beats her heels. So classy and chic. Love her outfit. Simple yet super classy and beautiful
All I learned as a guy is that heels = bra and I think I understand foot fetishes more now
🤣
I-
😂😂😂😂
Lol. U do u.
She really puts it into perspective I had never thought about before 🤔
We need a whole series with her! This is the most helpful video about wearing heels that I’ve ever watched.
I don't wear heels, but this still feels so important
Speaking of heels, I love the podiatrist’s heels!
*the very first sentence of the video*
me: I should not be here, I’m an a cup, I sometime don’t even wear a bra
I don't even own a bra
jealous low key
Same,i just wear cami and choose clothes which doesnt make nipple print so obvious..
I'm an a cup too, but ever since I started wearing a brallete, I feel funny without one. Also I like a little padding so I look a bit fuller in clothes
Some podiatrists don't recommend wear heels for an extended period of time.
I have absolutely no arch and bad ankles so wedges are my friend
I'm the same as you, I wished they had someone with fallen arches come in to see her suggestions
I recommend looking up toe and arch strengthening videos for ballerinas up hun! Just found out I have flat feet and I’ve been a dancer for a decade. Had no idea and if you’ve seen me dance you’d be dumbstruck. My saving grace is the strength in my feet. Your feet are all muscle and tendon. Make sure you’re stretching them, strengthening them, and have arch insoles!
I've got a high arch & a condition I can't remember the name of that makes walking in any shoes for an extended period of time extremely painful. I still wear heels though, I love them 😭
For your ankles, you can try "writing" the letters of the alphabet in the air with your big toe once or twice a day. Its beneficial for the whole foot/ankle.
Charlotte girl I feel my arches are sooo damm high my dance teacher used to call them “ballet feet” and any shoes are uncomfortable after a few hours i have to get custom insoles so I’m comfy at work
this was actually very interesting
omg, this video just taught me that the process of choosing well-fitted heels is so similar to deciding which pointe shoes fit the best...
Benefit of being a wheelchair user- heels are a non issue!
♡♡♡♡
🧡💛💚💙💜
😍😍😍😍😍
I saw a girl on a wheelchair with the hottest timbaland lace up boots
I mean, you still probably wouldn't want shoes that are too small or pinch, but otherwise I can definitely see how it would be a non-issue.
I always thought my problem was that I had wide feet but now I realize I have a high arch as well. This was so informative and helped me learn things to help support my feet
Bring a girl in with wide, flat, hobbit feet. I volunteer as tribute. I can't even find heels that my feet can fit in, why are all heels so narrow
Thank you ! I'm not the only one !
Yess
I have my favorite heels which only cover the toes and heel, my foot hangs out in the middle, but i just love them.
I’m the exact opposite! I have tiny baby feet that are super narrow, and I can never find shoes that fit
I have very wide feet but high arches and it's really difficult for me as well
I feel the pain of this. I’m petite but have flat and wide feet. Sometimes I literally cannot even fit my feet into the shoes. Just goes halfway. I hate it so much.
I need her when I'm choosing my heels.
Hannani Gukkie i was just thinking that
What about for those of us with Plantar Fasciitis, no arches/flat footed, and dealing with calluses?
Right? Because thats my issue. I have absolutely no arch in my foot.
🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
I’d would consult your podiatrist.
I have it too and podiatrist really recommends using high heals for my type of foot
I even get wounds sometimes
Well, I learned something today.
I really loved the way she explained everything so well
There is also something else I noticed with high heel shoes: the sole of the shoe should not be 45 degrees from ball of the foot to the heel. It should look like you would stand on your tip toes that way the shoe will support your arch. Compare shoes from 1930s and today, look at them from the side. The 1930s shoes are much better for your feet.
Why does it quietly play rock music in the back at 6:57😂
This was actually very helpful! Esp that first tip about the position of the heel 🤯
BEST shoe/heel/foot advice ever!
Makes so much sense!
Thank you!
I am digging the doc's monochromatic lewk! Yaaas 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This video is the kinda content we need BuzzFeed
Hope you guys bring her back and talk about wide feet in heels
This was honestly so enlightening. I've always had trouble with heels and now I can see why. Thanks!
Where has this woman been my whole life??? This is literally the best thing I’ve seen on CZcams ever. Thank you!!!!!!!
Cassaundra Baber Facts 😭🙌🏾
Ok, I am only 1 min into the video, but I had to come and say I love this lady's style! so chic.
thank you very much for your kind words, wishing you all the best
Honestly i think no matter how many tips you follow the truth is heels are painful. (at least for me)
Because your feet aren't built to wear heels. Sometimes for other reasons heels can help (balance, posture etc) but worn over time heels can damage the joints in your feet
Even flats hurt me so some these tips are still useful anyway
Thank you for explaining what several websites failed to about individual foot problems. I have high arches and have not checked placement of the heel. I will do that from now on!
She explains things so well.
That was a very informative video
This was really informative there needs to be a part 2 for all types of feet how to pick out shoes for each and solutions like flat, wide, narrow feet and then also how to fix various problems you
May have with shoes in your closet like I have a pair of strappy shoes but after a while the straps going across my feet hurt also I always slide in my shoes how to fix that esp while wearing a open shoe
Or people with long long toes!
She knows what she is talking about. Insanely educative, thank you so much!
AWESOME VID!! It's a nice change to see a podiatrist helping women find the RIGHT heels instead of just telling them NO HEELS EVAR!! Which is what a lot of them do. She knows that a lot of women just aren't giving them up so it's nice to see & hear how you can make them feel better.
You should really try the danish brand “Roccamore”. They are amazing to walk in! I have two pair of pumps from them so far ;)
What’s with the random heavy metal background music for the third girl?!
Sarznmo Same! Must be an editing error...
This was possibly the best CZcams video I have seen! Thank you for the practical and helpful advice! In the past I have only been to male podiatrists and they have said women should avoid wearing heels. Since we are obviously not going to do that, it’s great to have professional input on how to address the challenges we face trying to look nice!
Love this I’ve been having problem with heels and this just cleared so many things up I’m also loving her haircut !
I wear heels everyday to work. I had to sprint after my boss down the street and you better believe i can move.
Why did you need to do that?
@@noomre9105 i needed him to sign a cheque that had to go out that day snd he was leaving for a meeting
If only they actually put a list of these products with links. lol
This woman is such a good teacher!
This is literally the most helpful video I’ve ever watched! I’m sharing it with everyone!
Watching this makes me ever so grateful for Crocs, slippers and sneakers! I never got along with high heels, even though I did manage to pull off wearing high heels all evening one day 10 years ago (almost died on the way back to hotel room though because my feet were so painful!)
Now I can’t even wear heels any longer, joints are too unstable and balance is non existent these days and I wear AFO’s as needed. But even if I could wear heels I’d rather wear Crocs! Comfort and function comes first
The background music during Lillian’s part was so annoying
yeah it was like heavy metal with electric guitars?
Very informative video with an awesome podiatrist! Her explainations are straight to the point and easy to understand, I love it.
THE BEST INFORMATIONAL VIDEO!!!!!!! so much good info!
What heel would you recommend for flat feet? And my feet sweat a lot. Any tips to diminish this?
I am going to refer all of my Christian Louboutin clients to this video!
Very helpful information, thank you.
Very useful! Absolutely love the lady!
As a guy who wears size 19 heels, I can say that it's almost impossible to find a pair that feels absolutely perfect.
Hi there, it is all about using the right pads to package your feet inside the shoe and creating an even weight distribution from your heels to your toes, good luck
@@santamonicapodiatrygroup7430 Thank you for the tip, I'll take this into consideration the next time I order.
I needed some flat footed women in this. #TeamNoArch Still great information though!!
Very informative! Thanks!
More content like this! These kind of video's would actually help us from day to day
I totally feel that the higher the heel, the more you need a platform when you have a small foot. Im a uk size 4
It’s almost 1am and I should be sleeping.
At least I know what shoes I should wear now.
Thank u for such helpful tips 💖💖💖
This is very clear and informative. I’m so glad I clicked on this video.
Watches video: 🤔 , throws away all bras & high heels, orders sports bras & chucks lol 😂😂 j/k
That's my start point sports bra and vans. I don't own any heels
People with foot fetishes have entered the chat
This was so helpful! I loved this!
The best video I never knew I needed! More like thia please! I learned so much
I have hyperhidrosis ( my sweat glands are super effective ahaha, making me sweat a lot) on my feet and hands. I would like to know how i could make them not slip off my feet or slip inside the heel.
Gabriela Pascual I have the same problem ! I went to my podiatrist and he says a quick fix is to use spray deodorant on the bottom of your feet. Try it, it works for me!
I don't know if this is a thing, but I know you can get Botox in your underarms to reduce an overactive sweat gland. Is that an option for the feet as well?
Gabriela Pascual especially during the summer. I swear by baby powder
Dear Gabriela, thank you for your comment, using an anti perspirant spray works well for most, there are prescription strength topicals as well, please see a podiatrist, wishing you all the best
I needed this so bad I have a bunion and my foot always hurts but I wanna wear heels.
Bravo Dr Towfigh!!!
Highly interested and very informative. She explained everything so clear that it will be hard to forget 👍🏻👍🏻
Bring her back and ask her where she supposed to put the pad if you have flat feet
My feet are narrow so most typical heels won’t even stay on my feet. My toes have to grip onto 90% of shoes as well. Can’t wear pumps or flats or anything like that, I walk right out of them.
Dear Ruth, you can use heel grip pads, amazon carries them, you can either stick them on your heels or on the inner rim of the heel cup which will help you not slip out, also there are lots of strappy heels that are more supportive than pumps,. wishing you all the best
Genuinely excellent advice.
So informative! Thank you so much for sharing 👍🏼
i never wear heels lol they always fall off, i only have boots with heels and usally platform too
Omg where can I buy all of those silicone thingies.
I saw them online on Wish
Excellent advice!!!
Such a helpful video. Thank you!
So basically padding the areas that hurts in high heel shoes seems to be the common solution . Ok
Hi there, the padding you add will help but the contour and the fit of the shoe and the last of the shoe and the position of the heel and the type of material the shoe is made out of all make a huge difference, wishing you all the best
Music on this was weird why is it so intense like I'm watching an action movie lol
kept expecting "round one. fight!"
