    I agree with your selection I just got back from a three week vacation in June. I stayed in the LE Marais district in Paris. I felt very safe especially at night and I traveled solo I loved Paris but as in every big city like New York City etc you need to be aware where not to go . The Parisian people were very helpful and kind to me .All the taxi driver from Algeria were nothing but kind and honest .Taking the bus was fun & easy and a great way to see Paris that cost 2.50 euros .I never take the metro at night Too many sketchy people

    This was presented so well. It was visually stunning and calming to watch. The information was organized and easy to follow. You combined attractions, transportation and places to eat nicely. You also put the proximity of the major attractions in context and introduced me to a couple of new ones. Thank you. I have stayed in Montparnasse, the 8th arrondissment and Montmartre. As I am staying for a month this time, I wanted an area that was more residential. I will be staying in Passy(16th). There are excellent views of the Eiffel Tower from so many streets. My new favorite neighborhood, after my last trip, was Vincennes. It's eastern suburb, so not in the heart of things, but right on the very fast and reliable metro line 1. The fascinating Chateau de Vincennes is right there, the Bois de Vincennes is interesting if you are a walker. Tons of very good local neighborhood restaurants and some really stunningly good bakeries. You'll be commuting to most of the major sights, but the metro makes it very easy.

    • @paristoptips
      @paristoptips  Před rokem +1

      Vincennes is one of the rare cities in the eastern suburbs of Paris that is considered as chic as the western suburbs. The castle there is also very nice. The only, not so annoying, drawback is night prostitution at Porte de Vincennes and in the Bois de Vincennes.

    This is one of the best reviews of some great neighborhoods and, rather than parrot the many worthless claimants to being knowledgeable and their boring and ordinary guidebooks, this commentator points out some of the best of authentic Paris and things actually worth seeing, not content to just give the well-known highlights. Nevertheless, there is much more to see and do and he has merely touched upon them. I would like him to do a review of the best of the small museums of Paris.

    We like the 14th, mostly due to a singular lack of tourists and easy access to the Metro. There are not as many restaurants or cafe's as other districts, but more than enough good ones to satisfy all but the most demanding of visitors. Did I say there were very few tourists. Rue Daguerre shopping district recommended, as is the twice weekly local market. Also, the catacombs are nearby, although almost always crowded with [you guessed it] tourists.

    A good selection for those who have no money worries I guess. Just the most expensive touristy areas. If you look long and hard, you might find something nearly reasonable in parts of the 5th and Montmartre. Le Marais should appeal just to Bobos. In the 4 inner arrondissements public transport is irrelevant because the area is small and you can walk everywhere.

      Absolutely... not!
      The Paris metro is just a nightmare for people with disabilities, unfortunately. Here's the link to a Paris transport map of all stations and their accessibility level: eu.ftp.opendatasoft.com/stif/PlansRegion/Plans/Paris_PMR.pdf
      It's appalling!

      Though, as for all cities, you can never be 100% safe, all the neighborhoods I talk about in the video are fine. I would maybe just avoid Montmartre. It is safe but it's also a place where people party a lot late at night, which she might love, meaning there are also more drunk people in the streets at night, especially in South Montmartre.

    • @paristoptips
      @paristoptips  Před 8 měsíci +2

      I've never been to this hotel but it's very well situated at the limit of Le Marais a few meters away from Bastille, with lots of very different and enjoyable restaurants around. One of my preferred Japanese restaurant Kagayaki, is just a 2-minute walk away on the boulevard.
      The boulevard Beaumarchais is very active, so can be noisy, but I expect the windows would be soundproof.
      I would consider it a good choice!

      This hotel neighborhood is fine, as is apparently the hotel, with good reviews. But it's quite far south from the main sites to see. With metro, it would take you 30 minutes to go to the Louvre or the Eiffel Tower, 40 minutes to Le Marais or Montmartre. Staying a week that wouldn't be a problem, but just for 2,5 days, there will be a lot of time on transport. For just a little more, may I suggest you looking at Hotel Opéra d'Antin, Best Western Hôtel Opéra Drouot, or maybe Tonic Hotel Saint-Germain. All 3 would be more central, the two first ones near the Opéra, and the last one in the hearth of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

    Your videos have way too too many Ads, Ads every 2 minutes is ridiculous, 5 minutes in already 3 ads. 10 Ads in a single video is insane. It's very difficult to stay watching. I think if you want to keep your viewers stay watching your videos you should look at the the flood of ads you put in. Now I'm hesitant to follow your channel or watch any other videos of yours because of the amount of Ads.

There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign langua
