For first time traveler in Paris, which area do you recommend and which hotel? I want a convenient area to visit famous places and also easy access to the train to go to London and Belgium?

La marais is centrally located. Walk to many places. I may stay there. I am not lgbtq but I don’t care. The neighborhood looks cool
The neighborhood is cool and you don’t need to be LGTBQ to stay there or appreciate it
