I'm still in a dilemma now whether to go for fx30 or s5ii. Currently using Panasonic g85 and its a beast when i shoot wedding videos especially when I shoot solo. the Panasonic stabilization is a must for me however i kinda prefer sony color looks and variety of their third party lenses but just cant with Sony's amateur stabilization, i dont want the Hussle to use catalyst browse software for each 100 clips. I have never used a vlog pp before on Panasonic because g85 has none of the log profiles not sure if it is similar to sony S log so I can use a variety of luts
Definitely if stabilization is key for you I'd go for the Panasonic, sonys stabilization is really nothing special. Sony colours are really nice and the slog3 grades really well! I havent used panasonics vlog so i cant really comment on it. A lot of youtubers i watch are switching to panasonic from sony, they seem to be doing really well with their newer cameras!

i use an fx30 and s5ii-the fx30 is great with primes and easier to rig out. it has better audio options, and the active stabilazion is almost as good as panasonics ibis. i'd say it's a more 'prefessional' camera if that means anything. the s5ii has better codecs, definitely better low light, and has a nicer interface. i use the s5ii with a 28-70 2.8 as a hybrid personal camera, and as a b-cam to my fx30 which i use fully rigged out on client shoots because of the xlr audio options. run-n-gun tho i would take the s5ii.
