My shooting condition in the Pacific Northwest will be similar: outdoors in the field, overcast sky, solitude scenes. This video is the first I’ve reviewed without major lens flare, a feature for some but not for my style. Thank you for sharing.

Do you think the 350mm is enough?

Do you find the Tamron's VC fighting against the IBIS of the FX30 at the telephoto end during handheld? Some people say you get little jumps in the footage. Is it that bad?

Wow! I found this video because I have an a6000 this lens and I want to use it for this reason 😂 one really big question I have is what settings do you use on the a6000? I’m trying to find what I like and the way you set controlling the camera seemed pretty good. One problem I have is on manual focus it zooms in a lot? Is there a way to turn that off? Great pictures!

even at night? what configuration did you use? iso 2500 with cine ei 640, sigma 30mm with aperture of 1.4 at 24fps or more? Did you use noise reduction?

I bought a Sony a6000, and then immediately the sigma 18-50 f2.8. A year later I decided to try the kit lens, and as a result I'm seriously considering selling the Sigma to get a lens that covers a completely different focal length to the kit lens. I don't print anything or sell my photos, they're just for me. So the kit lens is perfectly sharp enough to view from my phone or computer. As a mostly landscape/street photographer, I hardly ever find the need to use f2.8, maybe for >5% of my photos.

Definitely the image on 7:25. The sharpness is superb, the alignment is soothing and the bird stands out
