This is a romhack that stitches together the "events" that comprised BS Legend of Zelda, which is a game that was streamed over the Broadcast Satellaview for the Super Famicom. For more information, please check out this link: zelda-archive.fandom.com/wiki...
As I mentioned in the video, I believe I have played the game before, but I didn't really remember much. It was fun to experience this game. The romhack is very well done! I was genuinely impressed with the hack and really enjoyed the puzzles and the final boss location! Hope you enjoy the playthrough. Romhack: www.romhacking.net/hacks/508/

Consummate V’s!
Hey Lack, Bojoux here. I'm loving these Zelda rom hacks, total joy to watch. Cheers man- hope you and the family are well!
Once again great job with the editing Lack! Really helps to keep the viewer (even more!) engaged.
Awesome video! I'm playing this right now myself. Hope to see more Romhack videos soon Lack!
I'm shocked that this was your first time playing it completely, groovy stuff! :)
Oh to be 7 years old playing this again for the first time trying to master the game, using tips from neighborhood friends just to advance to a higher level. What took me years to achieve takes you less than a half hour! If only I had realized how legendary this game would become... I really love and appreciate your channel sir.
Glad you enjoy it!
That was great. You should definitely check out more rom hacks. They are tons of fun and keep old games fresh
Cool romhack. Thanks for playing.

GG was so much fun to watch Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful sprite work here, this reminds me of Mario All Stars
Yeah I agree, would have been neat to see a Zelda 2 adaptation as well
YO, THAT WAS A *SICK* VERSION OF ZEDLAAAH ONE! 💪😎✌️
During the original broadcast, you'd get hints from the old man and a fairy during game play for limited time events. For example, for five minutes at the end of the first hour, every enemy would drop five rupees. Another time, your sword would be fully powered up for a few minutes. That heart container on the beach would only be there for a short time and the old man would tell you that something washed up on the shore. Each week two new dungeons would open up and during the last fifteen minutes of the last week, the old man would call out for help and when you returned to the original cave you were allowed to fight Ganon regardless of whether or not you had collected all eight pieces. Getting the most items with the most money would earn you a spot on the online high score table. (St Giga would be the company that ran the radio broadcast portion of the events, hence the level designs.)
There's an Excitebike BS and a F-Zero BS that would be cool as add on content to the original game.
Yeah that would be so cool to relive these events. Switch has the capability!
@@AntiMolarProMolecular interesting 🤔 have a link?
I played the original Zelda and up through A Link to the Past in what was effectively the pre internet era. Back in my day (!) we had to figure out all manner of poorly translated old man clues. We trained for years to develop that skill, working our way up from beginner level "walk into the waterfall" to intermediate level "There are secrets where fairies don't live" to PhD level "10th enemy has the bomb." When you walked into that screen with the grave and the 4 soldier statues, I instantly knew what you had to do. Still got it baby!
Go for the run!
I prefer the way this designed compared to the original. It's linear, but I think that's a good thing.
At the beginning it felt just a regular hack, but later on we saw there was more than just some edits in there, cool!
This was an amazing ROM hack.
Pretty sure the original WR for this game was three weeks (and forty-five minutes)
Nice!
Man, that Petra looks terrifying!
lovin it
23:33 that thing looks like it belongs on”Big Trouble in Little China.”
Hey Lack, hope you are well. There's been a decent amount of buzz over the last 6 months or so about a remastered version of Zelda 2 by hoverbat. I watched some preliminary stuff, and it keeps graphic style and adds so much more without changing the core and physics. I hope you'll consider playing it sometime.
It's been on my radar!
49:20 best part LMAO!!!!
Meow there! Do you play "Zelda Classic" quests on the PC, too?
Is it romhack Wednesday!?!?
Awesome Game. GG Lack Huge Fan 👍💯💢
Is this an actual romhack or was this in Zquest(Zelda Classic Engine)?
its not a rom hack its the online exclusive version that was only in japan with the broadcast time limits taken out
Is this the first Zelda game that used the word “ocarina” (as opposed to “flute” or “whistle”)? This came out in 1995. Ocarina of Time wasn’t released until a few years later
Links Awakening on Gameboy (1993) has an ocarina with 3 songs you can learn.
I've been too busy playing that other zelda game that's out. Just hit 30 hearts and 3 stamina bars hitting the homestretch.
Is it any good?
@@LackAttack I personally don't think it is as good as everyone says it is but I have two friends who both insist its the best zelda ever. The game does get a lot better once you've got about 10 hours in.
The BS does, in fact, mean what you think it does. 🙂
more rom hacks please, can sence a rapid growth in youtube if you commit now
More headed here soon!
why cant i open the hacked rom using snes9x? is there any solution?
I feel like this guy never played the original Zelda.
I hope this isn’t a serious comment
Umm lack what u do migrate back to clemson, havent uploaded in a bit
What system is this on?
Super Famicom/SNES
@@LackAttack cool.
I’m assuming this is a SNES ROM?
Technically was an official radio show online Zelda event game (hard to explain haha)
Is this on snes?
Yes
@@LackAttack where’d you download that hack? I gotta play it.
@@nikaluss5946 Check the description
He skipped turning blue
I swear im here for the gaming but he is also kinda hot 😅
Omg, it's so annoying that he runs around with that tiny shield
I wanna play this!
Just gotta use an emulator or everdrive for your SNES
Watching this guy not use his bombs on walls when he's maxed out with a bomb to collect on the screen is maddening. That and the screen with the knights where all he had to do was walk up drove me up the wall as well.
is not a rom hack
Yes, it is a romhack that stitches together the actual released games
