Have you ever played Final Fantasy Adventures (Gameboy)? It's a mix of this game and Zelda 1.

I wish the Dark Souls speedrun community would adopt this category. Their glitchless category always contains glitches, sometimes major ones. It would be refreshing if they named it correctly lol. GG on this run, love Zelda 2, my favorite Zelda!

Great, impressive run! But can't really call it a 100% run, I would think. No wooden boomerang, blue ring, nor the white sword. I am aware he got the upgraded version of all those, but still, he did not get this nor spend the time / resources to route them in his run. Also, he did not get the magical shield nor the letter. I do not count potions because those are consumables (by Link).

Did you ever look to see what Gwaelin's Love does? Impressive that you found the token measuring with a card that came with the game.

Huge fan of the original Zelda. I wanted to love this game back when it came out but I found it annoying and just disjointed for lack of a better word. Overall for me this game was a huge let down.

Sorry, no, MM's time system was just objectively bad game design. With tweaks it might've been ok, but at it was, it mandated repeatedly having to wait for schedules to lineup, and on a first playthrough resulted in constantly having to backtrack or outright lose up to hours of progress because of a missed window or having to redo tedious sequences over and over again. The limited save system was also archaic and clunky even for its time, and could cause intense frustration with lost progress due to something as simple as someone tripping over the power cord at a bad time. On top of all of this, it features some of the most tedious and unsatisfying boss battles, heart pieces and other side quests that require extensive setup and excessive repetition to collect.. honestly after OOT it was a huge letdown for me, despite its dark story being novel and refreshing for the series as a whole.
