First time back to this category in over 2 years. Was nice to get a PB, but still a couple of minutes to shave off.

I haven't watched many SMB2 speed runs so I don't have a good basis for comparison. However, I was in awe for most of this run. Some of the techniques you employed were very impressive. Hard to imagine the record for this run is under 21 minutes when you make 24 minutes look darn quick.

if you pause the video at the exact frame in 0.25x speed you can actually see it was 23:59.96, so, sub 24!! (.96 is a frame away from 24 flat, so it was very close)

What a game. I must have played this a thousand times when I was a kid. I used to be able to do that beezos section of 4-2 full run with my eyes closed. I would love to see more runs of this if it’s something you plan on trying to improve on.
