Mt Killington, VT

On June 29, 2024, I summited Mt. Killington, VT, which completed my goal to climb the five high peaks of Vermont (4,000 feet or higher) and with Vermont done, I've completed the Northeast 111 high peaks (4,000-footers in Catskills, Adirondacks, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine) -- all barefoot. This quest started in September 2015, long before I'd even heard of the NE 111 challenge, with a barefoot ascent of Hunter Mountain in the Catskills. What a journey! So much fun.
