The top item on my wish list is to hear Lucy sing live. I am in Australia and it will be worth every mile traveled to realise my ambition. I think Lucy is the best singer on the planet today and every song Lucy sings tells a story. It is a privilege to be able to associate, on CZcams, with such a nice group of supporters that Lucy attracts too.

I hope you get to see this reply to my comment the Manchester concert was a triumph for Lucy and 2 songs with Martha . it could not have been better Lucy was outstanding with every song and because the audience did not know Martha was going to be there she got a standing ovation when she came on and another when she and Lucy sang tThe Prayer. i got my photo taken with Lucy at the meet and greet which will always live in my mind. the best night of my very long life

@@anthonyl.6879 Would you say the same if she was ugly… Her voice is amazing I agree, and she is stunningly beautiful, but if she were plain then she might not get the same accolades. Have you heard of Mini Ripperton? She had an an extraordinary voice but on the looks side of things was not at all attractive. She even sang about it. It is easy to love the beautiful or perfect. But it takes special ability and strength to love that which is mediocre and plain.
People say, “I love your beautiful house”, but I say “you have a beautiful garage door”

Back in the 60s when West Side Story was on everyones' mind, I met a girl, passing through places in our lives that might never cross again, but for an only too brief few magical days, in an idyllic setting, we fell in love. I said, "marry me… somehow, someday..somewhere…. ". Sadly our lives took separate paths and never crossed again, but every time I hear this song I am taken back…. And Lucie is the perfect time machine to take me there.

When Lucy popped up in my recommendations, I stopped what I was doing, put the HQ speakers on and was lost in what can only be described as singing perfection... I have never heard anything close to this. What a mind blowing talent.

if you are a member of the Lucy THomas fan club you will get all the information you need . it was the most amazing night i have ever experienced . the voice was supreme on every song . standing ovations throughout and 2 with Martha again standing ovation for Martha i think because nobody in the audience knew she was going to sing . they sang The Prayer which had everyone on there feet. an amazing evening and i had my photo taken with Lucy which just finished the night off on a high for me . best night of my life @@anthonyl.6879

The way she moves from high notes to base are breathtaking. And then her beauty is unearthly together. A young beautiful lady with this voice seems the best evidence that God exists..
I hope she keeps her head screwed on tight and doesn’t go crazy like so many great entertainers - such a heady world to live in when your revered everywhere you go. Hopefully she will marry a cpa or a dentist rather than another artist -- and live a normal personal life so the world can enjoy her talent for decades. Having this kind of talent and Beauty together can often become a curse so easily. Think of all the great female singers destroyed by their own talent.

i have loved this song for 50 plus years. i love this version with the wonderfully talented Lucy every bit as much if not more than the original which came out with the movie the year before i was born. i'm a disabled nurse on a limited income if i were still able to work i would purchase everything this beautiful young lady published. i love having hard copies of music, etc. i recommend her every chance i get. and believe me that is a lot. i still have former patients, co-workers etc who keep in touch and i want them to feel as blessed as i do when i listen to Lucy. yep, i'm positive the more i listen to this song and it is multiple a day everyday (i have Lucy playing on a loop actually) i LOVE this version more!

Cristino; agree 100%! So many people will say, "It's Barbra, she's a legend.......no one can match Barbra!!" Well, yes, Barbra is a legend and a fantastic performer, no doubt! But one must get past the 'legend' label and you'll see that Lucy has much deeper vocals, better tone, much better pitch and far superior vibrato to Barbra, or anyone else, for that matter! Lucy handles those high notes and registers with ease; perfect pitch, tone, and outstanding vibrato, whereas Barbra does have some pitch issues and struggles a little bit with the higher registers!

What really separates Lucy from anyone else is her emotions, passion, and empathy she displays is simply uncanny; she interprets the songwriter's initial intentions behind the lyrics and then we experience what Lucy interprets and eases into our heart and soul and takes us away for a tranquil ride into pure harmonic bliss..........
