I was a wonderful to record this beautiful song by one of my favourite singer's Barbra Streisand. I hope will enjoy my recording!
"Evergreen" was written by for the 1976 film "A Star is Born" which starred Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. Barbra Streisand wrote the music and the lyrics were written by Paul Williams. "Evergreen" won The Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Original Song as well as a Grammy for Song of the Year.

A Paul Williams’ masterpiece and i thought only Barbra can sing it flawlessly until Lucy came along and sung it even more beautifully!!!
Streisand has been my favourite female singer for many decades, I never thought I would hear anybody sing any of her songs as well as her, just found out I was wrong! This girl has a very big future ahead of her with her beautiful voice.

Since originally writing my first comment, I have been listening many times to both this version and Streisand's original trying to figure out which I think is the best for me. By a very narrow margin, I would have to go with Streisand's version. Her voice is just that bit silkier and mellow than Lucy's in my opinion. Having said that, Lucy would surely today outclass Streisand and she can certainly sing beautifully.

Turned 70 in Dec. No song and singer has evoked the emotion I feel when listening to and watching this beautiful woman sing this beautiful song Evergreen. Perfection. It was my wife's and my wedding song in 1978. Miss Thomas takes me back to our wedding day and through my life with my wife each time I listen. I'm very grateful to Paul Williams and Lucy Thomas.

Not to my surprise, people came in and huddled around my phone, "who is this?"they were blown away by your absolutely flawless and powerful voice. I want to see the day the whole world knows your name and knows and appreciates your most perfect voice. There's no doubt in my mind you are the best female vocalist of all time.
