I always like the idea of a classical trained singer fronting a rock band. its pretty much required for this kind of symphonic metal, and the voice adds a lot to the atmosphere. I've always had a thing for Tarja as far as singing goes.
Really? This genre exists because of Nightwish with Tarja. So suck it up. You may not like her, but this is so much more than ok. Listen to dear Floor trying to sing the Phantom of the Opera ( not with Nightwish of course ), and you'll see what an " OK " vocalist means.
@Igal Flint That's true. But furthermore, Tarja's voice is too characteristic to compare her with Floor. As I've said, Floor is not a bad singer, but neither an excellent one. For example, I hate what she's done to Ghost love score. Tarja is a legend, but unfortunately her musical choices, aside from the classical albums, are not so good.
She has her own band and they do play this song. I know she plays in South America a lot as she is still well lived down there. But all over the world, really.

I can't believe I've never noticed this show was pre-recorded! omg. From 2:21 on there are two completely different shots, in one they're sweaty, the live version, and in the other one they look fine, slow motion, kind of poetical. It happens during the entire concert but here it gets obvious.
