Have you thought of hormonal changes for women over 35+. Balancing Hormones play a huge role in weigh loss. Less is more... on workouts and more protein. I do moderate carbs and low fat. I learned the hard way that extreme workouts hurt your body more so I do low impact and short workout. My priority is to keep my hormones balanced as much as I can now that I'm 40.
Dr Mindy does a great job of addressing that! Also fasting according to your hormones!

In my 30's I weighed 365, took me 2 years and I went down to 155 lbs, I maintained it for many years until 2021/22 when Covid hit and I was diagnosed with 22 different medical conditions and I'm in my 50's now. Not working, bored out of my mind, stopped exercising, eating processed food, I weighed myself March 2023, I was at 250 lbs, It's now October 2023, I weighed earlier this week, I'm at 170 lbs, from exercising and eating only vegetables, some fruits, meat, eggs and water. I was able to cure two medical conditions. It is very easy to get into a slump. I tell everyone don't be so hard on yourself, just get back to living a healthier life style. Myra, I love both the keto and low carb recipes you share. I also learned a lot about fasting after you talked about it awhile back ago on one of your podcasts, so I have started fasting for about a month now, does wonders! Prepping did help me in the beginning and I do prep a lot of my vegetables in containers. At my age, 54, I'm not looking to be skinny minny, I just want to feel healthy and feel good. Keep your podcast going, it has helped a lot of viewers!

Happy for you. Many attribute weight loss only to that body shape they have in their head, forgetting the many health problems it'll help them avoid. I lost 30 pounds doing intermittent fasting. I have maintained that loss for about 18 months now. I try to fast a minimum of 18 hours. If I go 20 hours or more then I follow OMAD because it’s hard to throw in more than one meal in 4 hours. I drink black coffee only. I eat what I want. I do not follow a low carb or low calorie diet. My doctor was also very pleased with my blood work.

I had lost 60 pounds and probably have regained 25-30 pounds. I haven't gotten on the scale but I know from how my clothes fit. I restarted keto Monday ... On day 5 and feel better already! I completely fell off from May-Oct. I hope to lose it by Christmas. I wish you success on your journey!!

I absolutely love your channel!!! I’ve been watching and following for the last couple of years! I had gastric sleeve surgery just over a year ago and have lost a little over 100lbs. I’ve been stuck for almost two months and am so thankful for this video. Scheduling my first skin removal surgery for June since my surgeon wants me to maintain for 6 months before she will do them. I want to get about 10-15 more off and then maintain it. I love that you are so open and honest!!! I would definitely be one that’s interested in a meal plan!!!
