Coming to Orlando tomorrow. My dad is on the bigger size but he got down to a 40 inch waist so he could enjoy this vacation with his grand kids. So proud of him
Those are my parents singing the song
Awesome!!!!
I know right!!!
That's so kooool
Where were you?
Thank you for all the joy you give me with all your videos ❤
Just got into town and can't wait to get into the park tomorrow! 🤞For velocicoaster
A couple years ago my dad tried getting on forbidden journey and couldn’t fit because he was wearing a tank top. Came back the next day wearing a regular t shirt and fit right in. Its much easier when you’re hot and sweaty for a t shirt to slide into that box rather than your skin. Just another little tip!
I went to Orlando in late August 2019. I’m 6ft2 and I was about 24 stone (336lbs) when I booked and knew I had to lose weight to fit. I hadn’t been to Florida for ten years so I lost 42 lbs for the trip. I got on most rides. Hulk was tight but I fit in the modified seats. Mummy was very tight and you may as well call it the man crusher. I didn’t fit on Hagrids nor did I fit on Disney’s FOP. I just about managed to fit on Mako in Seaworld with adjusting how I sat
Only 39 days till I’m in Florida! Hope to see you Rick!
Thanks so much for this video, Rick!
The only rides i have troubles with are Escape from Gringotts and Mummy because i’m 6’3” and the restraints have the leg pads which makes those two rides slightly uncomfortable because of the reduced leg space.
Agree completely, you have to cross your legs at your ankles to drop your thighs down low enough for the restraints to come down. I found mummy and rocket the worst to fit into.
Ripsaw falls can be a bit challenging for tall people since you have to stretch your legs out in the log.
yeah, I’m 5’4 which is kinda tall for my age and I felt like I wouldn’t be able to get out of the log because of my legs
@@sofiaspalding I'm also 5'4 and totally agree, this is not a comfy ride
Thanks for sharing
There is a CZcamsr that has a channel called Plus Size Pammie i think & she explains & shows all the test seats. She also discusses the accessibility for wheelchairs & ASD etc.
Great advice as usual sir. My grandson isn’t a big thrill ride kind of kid. But every time we go to the parks there’s plenty of attractions for him to ride on and enjoy. Thanks again for another great video.👍🏾✌🏾💯
Great video! I’m 6’5” 285 lbs and I’m able to ride everything. I do have to use the modified seats on Hulk and Gringots (row 6 is the most comfortable) We were there 2 weeks ago and had a great time! Rick probably doesn’t remember but me and my wife were the couple from Mississippi that met you and took a picture over by Bruce. Love the channel. Keep up the good work!
This helps a lot! My significant other is 6'2. We never have been to us, so this helps us a lot whenever we can go sometime.
Awesome vlog
My husband isn’t big but he’s 6’4, some very helpful tips!! I don’t know if I can convince him to get on Hagrids but if I do I’ll be sure to have him sit on the bike.
Great video
I just left and I didn’t fit in a lot of the test seats, but funny enough I fit on every ride. 6’3” 300 lbs
Including the harry potter rides?
Thanks.
Good video👍, well needed by many people! My Niece and Nephew in law want to use going on a trip to UO as an incentive to lose some unhealthy weight as a treat for achieving their goal! This video will help with the motivation, they already know they have to be able to comfortably walk 5 miles a day for the total of their park experiance time, with frequent rest breaks if they have to. I have been cheering them on to reach their goal, they been doing great! They be all set to go in 2022 when Canadians get to travel!
Awesome! Let us know how they get on!
Excellent tips! My waist is exactly 40", and I fit on everything. However, Rip Ride Rocket is uncomfortably snug, and Gringott's gives me the modified seat. My weight is my gut, not my sides. All of the seats were ample.
Rix top six is my favorite series on the channel
This is the first of your videos I’ve ever seen CZcams put a good ad in. Chocolate covered strawberries. I find that very interesting.
Haha lol I got the new Cruella trailer
I got feminine hygiene products! Lol
So Im a big guy and on my last trip on our second day I rode hagrids on the motorbike side no problem but was wearing REALLY uncomfortable sneakers so day 3 I switch it up and wear somewhat more comfortable socks and sandals. But when I got on the lap bar just wouldn't go down, I was so crushed doing the walk of shame I almost cried. But on day 4 I begrudgingly go back to the sneakers and I get on just fine again! I guess every half inch counts!
Wah, crazy
Needed a few folks to try the seats out
My tip would be if you got a sun burn try to avoid the mummy you’ll feel like your in a oven in the flame thrower room lol.
I have a 40inch waste and I can agree rip ride rocket feels like someone is squeezing you and trying to break a rib the whole ride and at same time takes you out of your seat like a bear hug lol.
Gringotts was ok but idk if it’s just me but the position of the ride and tightness kind of makes my private parts feel like someone is squeezing them not in a good way lol uncomfortable.
Only ride I didn’t ride was the hulk and dr doom. My favorite two rides are hagrids and the forgotten journey which I rode several times and never got tired of either of them.
Yeah I wish I new these last week because I couldn't ride on Rip ride rocket. They need to get a different restraint so every body size can enjoy the rides, just my opinion.
Thank you good info for a tall guy...
😎👍
I’m like 5.8/173cm but still gonna watch this😂
I can attest to being tall and sitting on the bike side for Hagrids
I mean sidecar I was able to somewhat fit. But man I did the motorbike more and can see why
#1: I am 1 inch too tall for Rip Ride Rock-It! 6'8"!!
#2: Absolutely right on the Hagrid's Motorbike idea! I tried to fit in the side car at the test car and there was no way! The motorbike side was awesome tho!!
Makes you kinda wonder why these rides were designed for trim ad slim folks, because bigger loads would increase wear upon or imbalance some rides? I read an article years ago that claimed most ride accidents from brakage was related to heavier than designed loading over time.
I'm sure safety is a factor. It's extremely difficult for thrill rides to protect 60-pounders and 300-pounders since there are more safety features involved in these types of rides. Lap bars, seatbelts, shoulder harnesses, etc. There's obviously a point where making safety allowances for larger people makes it impossible to have proper safety for kids. Apparently the magic number is a 40" waist. Maybe altering these to a 42" waist means now kids under 80 pounds can't ride (just a number, I don't know the real weight). There are a lot more kids between 60 and 80 pounds than there are adults who are between 40"and 42" (also, still just random numbers, but there are more kids of any weight category than the are adults between those numbers). I've actually seen some coasters not allow kids in the plus-sized seating. My nephew once climbed out of a coaster right before it was going to take off, and it was a regular seat!
I'm sure wear and tear is another issue. Just think of the g-forces a coaster puts upon you. Most coasters get around 4Gs - 4 times the regular gravitational pull - which means even that 80-pound kid is treating that train like a 320-pounder. A 300-pound adult is like a 1200-pounder. When you think of it that way, it's pretty amazing that roller coasters even exist or that more people don't die on them.
Rick, when are you going to do a video on riding the V coaster at night. Would love to see a full POV in the dark.
Could you do an express pass review? Maybe you and Nicki both ride the same rides and see how many rides each of you can ride in a day! One with an express pass and one without!
💖
I noticed in the background of some of these videos that you can see a few people wearing gators instead of facemasks. I know Universal says on their website those are not permitted. But are they still allowing it? Just curious if anybody has seen how this is being handled because my husband wants to wear his gator that his work provided him.
I am not xl but i saw the whole video
Rip Rip Rocket hurts my family jewels... I'm only 5'9" but got a soda gut...
It's not really a body-size thing, if you're catching my drift. I'm 6'3" and I'm packing probably only 20 extra pounds, yet I literally had to grab my goods with both hands for the last half of the ride. That spike in the middle of the seat is bigger, less-rounded, and just plain harder than any I've ever experienced. Guys who are plus-sized in two areas are going to be walking a little bowlegged afterwards.
I am not big nor am I tall in the slightest, I just love your videos :D
Can you find out when on earth is Universal opening up their Minion breakfast 😭😭😭😭
Day one of asking rick to reply
Hello satachi gaming
@@RixFlix no way also I'm going to universal in either June or July my dad got season passes and we live kinda far away so we are doing trips spread out
Hope to see ya
If your too big on the waist and trying to squeeze yourself in don't bother risking everyone's safety
