I remember 4 years ago thinking $40 was expensive as hell for a Harry Potter wand, but here I am in 2020 with a $200 reservation to build a lightsaber in December.
To be fair, a lightsaber is so much cooler because you could spar with it.

At first I thought that the shutterbuttons package was silly and overpriced. But my mom and kids snuck off and did it as a surprise gift to me, and I tear up every time I watch the video. They had a blast making it, so it was absolutely worth it!

I still think getting your picture taken on the ride is too pricey. They need to cut the price $10. They'll make a LOT more money if they were more reasonable. BUT don't get me wrong, a 3-day vacation at Universal and Is of Adv is a heckuva lot more affordable than TWO days anywhere in Disney World!!
@@largol33t1 Yeah, the ride photo prices are the real rip-off on this one. An actual professional photo session of 5 photos for $125 is very reasonable. Now that also assumes that the photography on duty actually knows what they are doing and aren't just a barely trained general staffer that is just going through the motions.
Magic wands are not in the top 6?. They are not exclusive from diagon alley but i think it's a must buy there. I'm going with my kids on Halloween and we'll deffinetly buy their wands there. Thanks for the vid's

@@Preppy_Auti There is an Ollivander’s Wand Shop in Hogsmeade too. There is also a wand cart. They have all the wands in both Diagonal Alley and Hogsmeade. ✌️

Knowing he only loved her because of the love potion she quit giving it to him. Without the potion he was repulsed by her and he left her and never returned. Severus Snape is the half blood prince. Thus the book called Harry Potter and the half blood prince.
@@annettedeem5252 erm, that’s Voldemort’s parents. Snapes parents stayed together, no love potion needed. If snape had been born under a love potion then he wouldn’t be able to love, but snape loved Lilly so that wouldn’t make sense.

The shutter buttons seems corny. But my husband and I did this on our first trip! It turned out SO good! We are natural actors I suppose haha! Also, the robes are worth it for the true potter fans. They last (quality wise) and give you perks from the TM's. If they see you wearing the robes, they talk to you about being a student. Also, you can purchase the head girl/boy buttons or the prefect buttons. If you wear those along with a robe, the TM's will complain to you about Hogwarts business. For example, once, a Honey Duke employee complained that some of my Slytherin house members were sneaking down to Honeydukes through the secret passage. She asked me if I was going to allow that to continue! Haha! Too fun!!

Love potion simply because it isn’t an ear on a string. Explaining a bit more, with the potion you get the nice prop as well. I am sure the potion teasers amazing but after it is gone you can totally put in other colored liquids in there :)

The Mrs and I went for the first time back in June. Watched your videos religiously and had a fantastic time because of all your tips. There should be privet drive, the Dursley’s house, Ron’s house, riddle’s grave yard/ the riddle house and a mini hotel that looks like Hogwarts with some actors who would go around and act as if they’re in Hogwarts so you can stay there and actually say you’ve slept at Hogwarts, that’d be cool :)
Maybe the new park, Epic Universal, will have a HP hotel, that is a rumor

Hey guys, great informative channel. Went to universal and islands of adventure last week. Used a lot of your advice-tips and tricks to get threw both parks. I would have never knew about all the secret stuff to do and look for in both parks....the biggest help was the side entrance near Blue Man group...and of course tried the butter 🍻...your channel is a bigger help then you may relize...thank you ..

Those robes are definitely worth it! We wore ours on a cold, windy day at a wizard festival over our winter coats and they kept us dry. Am I the only one bothered, though, by the fact that the sweaters in the movies are pullovers, but the house sweaters they sell are cardigans?? lol

Have you heard the rumor that all the sections in Universals new park, Fantastic Worlds , will be like Diagon Alley. A large central area (square), and then single entrances to the 4-6 heavily themed worlds. I love the immersion, but feels like a lot of backtracking while going in and out. Or, you get so entranced, you never come out!
Yes, I have seen the information on the "portal" type entrances. I haven't thought of the "backtracking" aspect...surely they will figure out a better way to have traffic flow...I'll be keeping an out for more info

That green kiosk is a Cabman’s Shelter, built between 1875 and 1914 to allow taxi drivers shelter with hot food and drink. There are still a fair few about. I doubt a cup of tea was 50p in that one though 😂

A must buy for my family is the chocolate frogs with trading cards! We hang the trading cards and boxes on our Harry Potter trees during Halloween and the chocolate is the BEST!
