Thank you for the information. I have not really buy more storage so this help on what to keep... Tip ..Pokémon go storage works like mobile photo gallery. Press and hold for about 2 seconds and you can select multiple to Transfer or Tag.

I did this and transferred 50+ giratinas and manged to fuly power up a good one. Thanks for the tips and will definitely do this to get more space and candy.

I have been transferring any pokemon less than 3* . I keep my shinys and mythicals unless unless they have really good attacks. I keep at least 100 spaces in my bag and it seems to work for me. Thanks for all the good advice!
100 is not that much, especially if there are 6 hour community day. Also for pvp some good pokemon are 2*

0:45 "We can start getting emotionally attached to pokemon that really don't do anything for us." You just contradicted yourself. If we are emotionally attached, that IS DOING SOMETHING FOR US. That pokemon MEANS something to us. You DON'T get rid of THAT one! I'll give you an example. It was Abra community day. It was the day of my son's funeral. On the way to bury him, I turned on the game as we drove. I needed a distraction. I caught a shiny Abra. Will I power it up? Probably not. Will I evolve it? Probably not. I AM emotionally attached to it though. I named it, and I'm keeping it. And while that is an extreme example, those kind of pokemon should be in your collection. When you go through your collection, and you have stories like that, you have a GREAT collection. Many of us play for a good collection.
I have another pokemon, on Eevee community day, about a couple minutes after it started. I clicked on an Eevee. It was SHINY! After I caught it. It turned into a Sneasel. I named it Shiny Eevee. It's a good story.
I have another pokemon, a shiny 91% Rayquaza that I got in a raid with Kriket23 and ZoeTwoDots. I named it Kriket. It's from Australia. Am I going to power it up? Probably not, but you can bet I'm keeping that one. It's another good story.
I have a question for you Billy. Who's collection is better?
A) The guy that dumps everything that isn't META?
B) The guy that keeps the 'mons he's emotionally attached to, and can tell stories about when he goes through his/her collection?
I say collection B is MUCH MORE VALUABLE. It means a lot more. The guy with collection B is also going to keep interest in the game, while the guy with collection A is probably going to get tired of the game at same point. His collection doesn't mean as much.

If you have a switch and pokemon let's go I recommend transferring any gen 1 shinies there you still get candy.

Great tips for those drowning in pokemon and hurting for space. I generally keep 6 normal legendaries/ shinies. With uxie and mesperit, I'm keeping 9 of each for regional reasons. That's luck trade/trade power I can't pass up.

It's also a great idea to trade across any gen 1 shinys that you would delete to switch for secondary shiny trades 😃

Darkrai is obviously better. No one is doing mega Gengar anyway. No one is accepting my invites, and no one is inviting me to mega Gengar. So yeah.
Shuppets evolution will be getting a mega at some point, personally I would have kept the hundo shuppet

I’m taking advantage by collecting buttloads of litwick candy for a chandelure for great league. Feel like it could do well in silph if I don’t get it ready for Halloween cup
Things from Kanto are easy for me, it is the reason I bought Let's Go Pikachu, a bunch of shinies and other stuff sitting in that game.
Was sooo close to getting the gengar. Glitch kept me from getting it before 10pm 😅 plus I’m so rural. Oh well.
I caught 5 shiny giratinas within the first couple of days of it coming out this last time. Honestly, I'm more excited about my shundo yamask and shundo Spiritomb.
Double comday coming up electrobuzz and magmar in one month make sure you have plenty of space for that trainers.
Suggestion: for those with shinies from the OG 150 pokemon (and their alolan forms), if you have one, you can transfer them all to pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee then you can transfer them to Pokemon Home. That way those shinies can live on in the Nintendo Switch games (Sword and Shield)
Supposedly by the end of the year we can transfer almost any pokemon directly from Pokemon Go to Home, even if its not the first 150. Although I hear rumors that this functionality will have a cooldown and a cost we can pay to reduce that cooldown. I kinda hope that rumor about cooldowns and costs isn't true though...

Just hold a pokemon to highlight it and then you can highlight all the pokemon you want to transfer

I see which ones are below 90% IVs, and transfer those. As for Shadow Pokémon, if it’s either a 0- or 1-star, I’ll purify it, and transfer it.

An advice for those that use Pokémon Let’s Go in the Switch, keep Pokémon that you will need to complete the dex on hand to transfer later to the game so that you can eventually complete the dex without having to find them in Let’s Go. Extra shinies? Put them there as a special gift for yourself.

I think Niantic should firstly bring back those special bonuses we had last month. Cases are going going up in North America and Europe, firstly. Secondly, in those same areas players aren't allowed outside. Telling people to go out in those areas is downright dangerous. Niantic is putting player's health, safety and lives at risk. Yes we're responsible for our own health, but Niantic should encourage players to stay at home more, especially with cases going up, and with winter around the corner.
Also Niantic should/must fix the bugs in the game. Adventure sync has been offline for many players.
