  • Learning to Jump on a Mountain Bike - Progression Session.
Please do not treat this video as a tutorial, I'm personally terrible at jumping and I was just trying to insight some wisdom on Kirsty to help her get better.
We spent the full 4 hour session here grinding these jumps and got good results.
If you need to work on your jumping skills then a place like this is highly recommended as you can do a ridiculous amount of runs in a short space of time and just focus on your technique.

Nice video bud, I am a beginner and love this kind of videos which are not done by a pro. Subbed and liked. Keep shredding bud. Like your TLD lid.

Thanks, we all have to start somewhere and I also find watching average riders to be more motivational than watching the pros all the time.

It's your number one fan here. Good to see you back. Missed you. Hopefully, I will try some jumps whilst at Hadleigh, not many there ;-).

Hey, yeah sorry for the delay, we went to 3 different bike parks last week and the filming was terrible so I've been contemplating what to do with the footage. I'll try to get at least one video a week out from now on, if lockdown allows of course.
Only one actual jump at Hadleigh but there is a small secret one in the skills area, see if you can find it next time you go.

Nice, getting a bike with a shorter chain stay helped me the most when learning to jump. Keep up the great work!

I tried that with her, we bought a dirt jumper but she doesn’t get on with it very well

@@leemtb The bigger your bike and the more suspension you have, the easier it feels to jump in the beginning. If you have a dirt- or bmx bike, it's much more responsive to every movement you make. More fun in the end for me, but it doesn't forgive mistakes. I think, it's a good idea to build up confidence with a more forgiving setup before getting used to a small dirt bike.
Nice vid and a very cool park indeed!
