I believe i was showing early signs Of being a Therian, I’ve always liked rolling around and biting things..I love the thought of bringing what i AM out of myself. :/ Im dumbfounded that i denied it for awhile, but today i got on my trampoline and couldn’t resist doing quads. So I did and after about an hour I layed down like a fox and looked up at the sky, i then realized this is me. This IS who i am.

Im a newly awakes therian, and I’ve been overthinking about telling my parents, i have a secret Christmas list which i accidentally left on my desk, so i think they know i want a lynx mask and a grey fuzzy tail 😰 (im at my grandparents house, staying until Saturday, and my parents are still at my house)
It’s past Christmas now, did they actually see the list and get you the tail or have you not come out to them yet

Tip: tell the parent that you feel most comfortable first and then ask that parent to tell the other parent

my dad often makes fun of me for things so i'm planning to tell my mom first and in hopes that she'll understand me and be okay with it. i've told her i like doing quads and making masks but i haven't told her the main reason. planning to later tonight.

I told my dad first, he seemed to think of it as a joke since he is a very easy-going person, which is why I told him first. My mom overheard our conversation and whenever I mention it, she keeps telling me “don’t go down this path” or “you are not a therian” and “appreciate your own body,” as if I have a choice whether I wanted to be a therian or not.
I told my mom she said she didn't know to support or not..what should I do? I'm not looking for a long convo,I just want her to know,support. And that's IT.

I want to tell my mom but I don’t want her to interrupt me (which she as a tendency to do) because a lot of time when she interrupts me she interrupts me and just the wrong moments so my words get twisted

I didn’t want to be a therian but doing quads is like… a new life. I ran around in a big field for an hour and I was out of breath and I lay on a rock and stared into the blue skies above me, I know who I am.
Also some tips is to make a PowerPoint/slideshow cause you can make it fun and quirky and you don’t have to memorize lines cause you can just read it off ur laptop or phone or whatever.
I got super lucky, right before I had awakened my friend had awakened as a Therian, and I told them about what a Therian was. I then started doing quads to support them and then realized that I, myself was a Therian after doing extensive research (not a fake, I researched about what a Therian was, what signs are and watched lots of videos on knowing if I was a Therian.)

tysm this helped me so much when coming out about being a theiran and my mom says that its ok and she will still love me no matter what shes going to get me a tail soon im so exited but im still scared to tell my dad because he is stricter then my mom my sisters are fine with it but my brother still dosint know my dad and my brother are the most strict how should i tell them what should i do?
Give hints,start acting slightly like an animal around them, maybe do quads Infront of them(if u do quads)build it up until your sure your ready,and be ready for them to say they don't support,but just go for it when your ready!don't rush telling them!and if you don't want to tell them,then you don't have to,they have no right to force you to tell them anything,don't feel pressured either,get them by themselves and get down to the point,get them far away from anyone else,you don't want any interruptions either.

What I've been doing, is walking, trotting, running, and jumping on all fours around my mom. She might have possibly seen the therian necklace my gf gave me while we were putting more crystals in my room. I'm planning on telling my mom on the road trip to Dallas for Easter that I have next week. I usually tell her my secrets on road trips by texting her so noone hears or sees the conversation. Wish me luck!

Has anyone done this with parents that say "sometimes you have to do stupid stuff to enjoy life"? That's what my dad says and I'm unsure if that means he'll let me figure who I am by myself or if he'd be ok with therians. I sent him a therian video and he didn't say anything about therians he just said he wanted to be reincarnated as one of my grandma's cats cause she spoils them.
Another thing I forgot to put is I have a feeling he'll be supportive but I don't want to have an awkward conversation cause I don't know how to bring up things or talk about things without it being awkward and that's the only thing that's stopping me from saying something
