There is no known photographs of Diana wearing the Honeysuckle tiara. The photo in question, was Diana and Charles attendance to a Gala performance in 1989, to which she was not wearing a Tiara. The Tiara was copied from a portrait of Countess Cynthia Spencer (Diana’s grandmother) after the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, and edited onto Diana.

Quite beautiful tiaras. The honeysuckle tiara is quite big. I like the meander part, I like the flower part, not really liking them together. The one Diana wore was my favorite. The diamond and pearl is quite nice. The Edwardian tiara is my second favorite. I’m so happy Earl Spencer is going to give Diana’s tiara to Princess Charlotte. That is amazingly gracious of him.

I heard that the Spencer family is more royal than the Windsors.
The royals are royals, the Spencer are just Earls, aristocrats, but commoners who made their money from trading wool
They are descendants of Tudors and Stuarts so yes they are of royal blood

Why would Earl Spencer do that? He has several daughters of his own, but ownership will pass to his son when the Earldom passes to him.
