I love the Grenville collection. I have two reproduction pieces! Breathtaking
All that wealth.....
The bequest always seemed odd.
The social-climbing Mrs G intended to leave the Polesden Lacey estate to the Yorks, as they had no country seat, but when George became king on the abdication of Edward, it was no longer necessary. So she left Elizabeth her major jewels instead. Some of the jewellery has dubious origins, and the Windsors’ minders are newly sensitive to them being seen in public these days.
The Queen Mother wore the Honeycomb Tiara frequently, we know this because of the numerous photos of her wearing it over many years. Your comments on this are wrong, get the facts correct she enjoyed wearing the Greville Tiara.
I am not a person to like Queen Consort, I am glad she gets to wear her Grandmothers gems it is fitting. So now I am going to wash my mouth out.
@Blessings.429.
Not queen consorts grandmother, as the commentator stated Grenville was friend to both her grandmother and Queen mother/Queen Mary
@@Rx-Needles yes well I am Australian so I don’t think about these folks at all. So just thought I would copy as if proper. Camilla …nothing good to say, just thought give her her title. TY
Camilla is an immoral greedy person! Exactly like her great grandmother
"bequeathed!" more like the tax authorities helped them into the royal jewel collection.
Stop with the "Subscribe" image interrupting your videos. It has the opposite effect.
What total rubbish you spout so eloquently…The Queen Mother adored the Grevillea Honeycomb Tiara
Yes , but as was well known , not favoured by Queen Elizabeth II which is noted in the narration - if you listen.
Choose a pitch for your voice and stick with it.
I read this comment thinking, it’s not so bad…a few more minutes in, my god that’s distracting.
He seems to vacillate between obsequious and condescending bordering on angry? Very strange indeed.
Who was my father?
She was NOT Princess Elizabeth II she was princess Elizabeth
What a dog
Agree
Kind of interesting... just goes to show where booze profits will get you - but all this stuff still looks trashy on those not blessed with good bones. You' d hope they'd learn aesthetic lessons, but they never do.
Imagine being so insecure in your social status that you would leave your wealth to the royal family 🤣 It’s really very pathetic.
