- Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello is currently the subject of a nationwide search following allegations of economic and financial crimes amounting to N80.2 billion. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared him wanted, and in a dramatic twist, it has been reported that he was aided in his escape from Abuja by the current Governor of the state, Mr. Ododo. This development has prompted the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to place Bello on its watch list, mandating his arrest at any point of entry or exit from the country. What am surprising now is nothing but Yahaya Bello pass Nigeria constitution or government , that they cannot arrest him once and for all.
