The man is trickishly evading answering the tough question. He knows the truth, but evades it.
You are right bro...
Wow ! You are so smart! Very true and sad !
10 lawyers 10 different opinions on this Yahaya Bello EFCC and COURT saga.
Corruption is when you are legally protected from being presucuted from corruption or whatever evil you did...my question is... is that also applicable to the ordinary Nigerians?
Even if Yaya Bello present himself for prosecution, what will happen? How many of his mates are walking freely after all the drama
Chamberlain is very smart. He asked an intelligent question but network was used as an excuse 😂
Usless laws , Usless judges ,unless body of government. Every thing in Nigeria is Usless
Ode
Very useless
Please let EFCC go to court and not to take law into their hands, treat people with dignity and respect until case is proven beyond reasonable doubt.
How can a court of law says a citizen cant be arrested. What a court of lawlessness !
Agbakoba himself is another problem for Nigeria giving wrong interpretation to laws all the time. What an unfortunate issue and this are people saying they want Nigeria to work but are full of bigotry. Very shameful
Yahaya Bello shared the money with them.
Chamberlainnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn…you can ask very intelligent questions 😅 You remain my favorite anchor👍🏼
Nigerian lawyer and Nigeria pastor are contradict them self .
they are the problems of our country
Yahaya Bello is wondering what’s these all about? What has he done wrong? The EFCC must be playing around.
Fela🗣️:"Confusion break bone ........ Yeepa !" Nigerian judiciary needs reform.
Nigeria judiciary needs rescue
I am so surprised court give order not to arrest a citizen.
Lawless country
How is this so again?
Respect for Rule of Law does not just develop overnight. It has to be a culture of a state. A state that does not obey simple court order is bound to fail. Corruption has eaten deep into the fabric of every Nigerian institution.
The problem is the corrupt judicial system. Judges decisions are ok. You follow the current order. Obey before complaining. The EFCC has the right to arrest. Your lawyer is arguing blindly. Where is the crown of senior advocate. I didn't see it.
In America, a judge would not even grant you bail if another judge gave you no bail. He/she will refer you back to the same judge. Nigerians love drama everybody wants to be in charge. So Agbakoba makes sense in terms of efcc should have returned to the first judge and asked that he/she vacate the first court order but you know why they would not do that because it's not about the 💵 and justice for Kogi state ppl. But it's all political someone wants to show him am the boss. Idc about Yahaya Bello but our judicial system should do better. It's a shame 😂
There are many court orders which government itself has not obeyed. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.
Our Judiciary is decayed beyond redemption...
To hell with you lawyers. Now, the process isoprene important than the crime and corruption of the former Governor, and so called “youth “. If former Governor is innocent, why is he fighting tooth and nail to visit the EFCC. And Governor Dodo protection of his predecessor borders on obstruction of justice.
really great mind!
Corruption is too much for some of this governors in Nigeria oh.
This audio issue needs to be sorted. Ate almost half of the time allotted
That man is an movie actor
This still comes down to poor judiciary system. This is simply another litmus test result showing again that the judiciary is not free of corruption.
Even the lawyers cannot give direct answers to the issue at stake. Cry, The Beloved Country.
See as dem dey use press to confuse us for Naija. Now the arrest of this Yahaya guy is not relevant any longer, we must discuss the activities of EFCC, but the EFCC has been harrassing other Naija youths for years
This is the most eloquent lawyer I heard on this issue. The male host's question asked at 16:00 is dumb - asking the ex governor to go and vacate the EFCC 2nd order to prevent arrest makes no sense. Where it end?? Each side can just keep a lawyer at a high court and keep vacating each others order. Crazy country!
"EFCC is not created to handle anything that has to do with fraud". Just imagine this type of person in our society.
The kind of movie in our country can't be found anywhere in the world.
Courts of confusion and lawlesness
What a mess!. Cant even get an ordinary virtual transmission right even within the same country in this age of technological advancement! Yet the moribund country continue to reward mediocrity wherever it is found at every strata of the society.
Chamberlain, I think you are not getting the SAN properly, repeatedly he has said that for the order to be enforceable, the first order should be vacated!
Please can somebody help me with the difference between corruption and financial crimes in Nigeria?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There is a big difference don't make fun of yourself 😂
@@davidnnamani1715 Please tell me, I want to know honestly.
When he can't answer question, he assume he can't hear
Two judges, two different judgments. I guess two different constitution.
Agbakogba is an interloper and a busy body chasing relevance all over the place.
Probably expecting a brief from bello
SAN Olisa Agbakuba. When did Nigerian law enforcement agencies started following due process in arresting and trying suspects of higher class in Nigeria. In America. There are state laws and federal laws. Each totally independent of one another and respected.
In Nigeria. If someone sues you in Lagos. No problem. All you need to do is counter sue that person in kano in a court of equal jurisdiction on same matter . Relax and go about with your daily life. Drop some Naira . The case is guaranteed to last a minimum of 10 years . Another set of new lawyers and judges will start the case afresh after 10 years .
No one knows the judges in the case and the charges to Ex Gov Bello
This bello must be made an example of, you don't defy law in any civil country,. Only in nigeria, the fact that the current gov had the gull to show support for a corrupt politician. Bello goes to jail and a recall of the governor
It only portrays dat Kogi State has sunk into the oblivion period
This man is simply a pretender. Now is the time to fix the country. We should be tired of saying we are tired.
Oliseh Nigeria it self is an conflict entity
I just pray the real justice is prevail on "Yahaya bello's case"bcos you see all these old cat that called themselves lawyer's and Judges contradicting their self, making this matter to become an epic....One day na One Day, u go reap am! Who be EFCC, who be ICP? Confusionist, now evading questions😮
Na today e start ? Una never see anything APC na thug life . 😊
Mr Olisa is focused on technicalities and this is shameful
Imagine if we had state police.its like we are more adroit at taking backward steps as a nation
The audio ain't that bad barrister.
Just that you are carefully avoiding Chamberlain's technical questions
Is there rule of law in Nigeria? I don't think there is any.
I don't agree with Chief Olisa Agbakoba on the Ex governor of Kogi states refusal to follow EFCC¹😊
SAN Olisa Agbakuba . Why do you double speak . You are never here nor there. Oga ,you dey confuse us ooh. Chaii !!!!!.
The EFCC is trying to collect their tithes from Yahaya Bello. Governors who pay tithes don't have this problems. Ask Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, Ganduje, Bola Tinubu, Oshomoile etc.
Yahaya Bello should seek advice from Rochas Okorocha on what percentage of the loot to payoff EFCC. Emefeile didn't pay tithes. Chief Priest Cubana understands the game.
Agba Baller is all it takes .
They' are the same stuff. Stop waisting your energy to call any of them for interview.
Hes deciding not to hear you! Hes talking nonsense
Yeye corrupt country!😂
Olisa na them o
Olisa Agbakoba at it again! He started the Abuja status during the election that made some people believe that Abuja voters are more superior to other voters in Nigeria. Here again, he is saying that EFCC cannot handle corruption cases. Where has he been since 1999? Why has he not gone to court like Gani Fawehinmi would have done if he were still alive to challenge the EFCC? I really don’t understand his cunning-cunning style of lawyering.
Did the governor of kogi state embezzle 80.3 billion naira or not? Is my question. Not all this rigmarole 😂
This man shall like to they confuse people shall, the same way he brought up Abuja status during last election. Sir, your introduction was weird
Don't always give this man the platform to lie to Nigerians whenever he pleases. There're millions of Nigerian lawyers with credible credential to be Channels Television analysis
The SAN that muted Abuja 25% ..
Very deadly San, they don't know what they are doing. Bribery and corruption, frustration lawyers
It is not true that EFCC does not have the powers to prosecute corrupt practices. As a matter of fact, section 46 of the EFCC act clearly outlined the powers of EFCC to investigate and prosecute corrupt practices in as much those practices border on economic and financial activities of non-violent nature. The learned SAN grossly misinterpreted and misrepresented the supreme Court Judgement (2015) of Iwobike vs EFCC. The contentious argument in that case was 'pervasion of course of justice' and has nothing to do with prosecution of 'corrupt financial or economic crimes'. The apex court in it's wisdom adopted the ejusdem generis rule in the interpretation of section 46 of the EFCC act. In other words, the court held that the term 'corrupt malpractices' must be interpreted in respect to 'financial and economic crimes'. I am medical doctor by trade, but I am knowledgeable enough to discern a misrepresentation of facts however miniscule it might seemed.
Reading the comments here clearly shows that a lot of people either did not listen to the interview or cannot comprehend it. What the learned silk said is that the EFCC did not follow due process, the EFCC has no business prosecuting corruption, the EFCC should have gone to a higher court instead of a court of similar jurisdiction that gave the first order and that the gestapo manner of arrest is not right.
But he also said he has not read the charges. How can he be talking about jurisdiction when he has not even read the charges and know anything about the case?
So what do you classify financial crime as? illegitimately moving funds through the banking system with no tax deductions and massively altering on the books of top financial banks. EFCC definitely has grounds to charge that man.
Your guest is not telling the truth!
So what he is saying is once the judge has been bribed and compromised the criminal goes free laughing at the faces of everyone.😮 the yahaya bello is trying much as he can to escape the from the country.
The point he is trying to make is that it’s wrong for courts of same jurisdiction to give a counter order against itself. That EFCC should have appeal for that Kogi decision or seek approval to arrest from Appeal Court which is a higher court
@@delkerethos5113 understood him but not enough. His posture speaks volume he stands with Yahaya Bello.
Corruption has eaten deep into our system, defending immorality
okutepa is an evil gala man, he is fighting an Ebira man because of governor, a governor gala people will never smell again.
No matter what you say, u're only disgracing yourself, am not sure Yahaya Bello will hire you as his lawyer.
