I make this with homemade chicken stock. For anybody unsure if this side is worth making: IT IS. It tastes sooooo much tastier than you guess it will. Delicious, cheap, quick, easy and goes with loads of other things for any meal set from breakfast to late supper.

Helen, I didn't know to take the anchovies out when I cook. We appreciate your sharing you are always teaching that's why we love to hear you talk on your show... Or we would look in a book. Some of us are beginners. Thanks for everything Helen.

Hi 👋 @Nya Watson Some people like to keep the dried anchovies in the broth and keep on cooking it for a stronger taste. My personal preference is to take them out soon after flash-blanching for a cleaner taste 😋. 🙏Thank you always for ur kind words🙏

Hi 👋 Nya Watson You know, you are doing it right with eating the dried anchovies as a snack😉. Dried anchovies are eaten as ‘healthy protein and calcium’ snacks. And these are also enjoyed as a side snack with shots of soju (dried anchovies dipped in GoChuJang/Korean Red Pepper Paste). 🙏 Thanks for ur comments. 🙏
