Building a Vertical Log Splitter Part 1

This is the part 1 video building my version of a stand up vertical log splitter. It will be a very heavy duty diesel powered splitter.

I like how you made those clamp points on the angle to hold the axle true, i usually go kinda lazy and use heavy hose clamps with the angle to line that kind of stuff up. I will definitely put your way in the memory bank for when my lazy way is failing 🤣

Had an L3e from a marine generator and sold it. didn't have a use at the time and wish I kept it. Looking forward to more of the build. I probably would have put the diamond plate upside down but just arm chairing it.

That's pretty cool. Wish I could do stuff like that. I have to weld a piece of I-Beam to my log trailer so I can mount a winch and I've been putting it off because stuff like that isn't easy to me. You make it look so easy...
