    I made a workbench out of beech - it’s gorgeous wood - honey brown. Beech isn’t hard to work and is relatively hard and without the deep pores like oak for stuff to get stuck in.

    That core/heart slab would be perfect to throw a wire brush on the grinder and clean that rot out and make a nice table with some colored epoxy and LED or fiber optic lighting in it, been a lot of expensive tables made out of what would normally be firewood slabs with epoxy

    Careful you don't blowout your bicep tendons lifting those slabs. Ripped biceps are not fun. Maybe think about getting a bigger tractor for those logs lol.

    I would never buy a slab that dogs walked all over. Disgusting.

      Well some people would pay more so I guess it evens out.
