So cool man, you're a genuis! Have u considered making your neutral return adjustable, if your splitting 16 inch logs it would kick it into neutral with your wedge 17 inches off the deck or 19 inches off the deck if your splitting 18 inch logs? This build has been so fun to watch. Sorry if sharing the thought is rude.
