Maul-style hammers are still very common, especially in fine woodcraft and in leathercraft.

I downloaded this after seeing your last video of it and I'm in love lol. I stopped playing after about an hour bc I know I will but it to support the devs.

The Altar probably helps to increase morale. This game continues to look pretty interesting.
You can't barbeque eggs. My oldies say that if you cook eggs directly on fire, it will become poisonous. Maybe the devs heard of this. Lol. So yep, you can only cook eggs if you have a medium for heat transfer (water or oil)
Likely need to make a pot to boil eggs or a pan to fry them. You'd need higher skills for that.
you can place markers near resources and the workers will travel
Haven't watched all the video yet, but if you want a tip to help, pin the build structure, and you will get a better visual of what you need to gather to build it. And if a villager is assigned to building you can see them add materials as they work.
You can move the flags. Just dismantle them (the flag), pick up the materials and put it down where ever you want :)
Loving this game so far. I didn't know you could manually use the hoe to get rid of grass. That would have saved me so much time! Speaking of time, I was a little disappointed that the demo unceremoniously ends after 14 in game days. You can start a new game and play more but it kind of sucks not being able to continue with the same character.
Im looking to download the demo, and Wondering roughly how many hours you put in before the demo ended?

I dont know if you found it out yet but you can place markers out in the wilds for your different stations wood/stone/forage/hunting etc

If you haven't figured it out, you can break down bark into fiber.
This game looks like it runs smoothly, which is great for a survival game. The only thing I would change (but it’s not a deal breaker) is the premade structures you add materials too. I’ve just never been a fan of that type of base building.
This game looks promising. I'm digging it.

The sleeping and healing get super buffed once you build the chieftain hut. You also get a massive energy boost.
You can break down thatch into fibers in the inventory screen

I think this games storms are crazy I had a storm all day it said the storm was clearing 3 times yet never did clear then I had a horde which the storm stopped for then Immediately continued after the days survived noticed came up it's crazy because storms damage your town
Loving the game, but please give the new update to Space Engineers a go. That was an awesome series. You could name your ships and rovers after people in the fabled Survivor tier.

also will run on low value pc with a 1080 vc 4 gig and 16 g ram on low setting with 0 stutter
You are definitely an fn city boi... stick and round log is called a wooden mallet.. watch some testosterone inducing bushcrafting once in a while mate, or do some manual labor. Its a very common tool. doesnt leave scores on softer things that metal heads will. Amish still use them often, especially for wood working and pegs.
