the terraforming is the best ive seen EVER, its amazing, im in love with it, hell the entire game is what ive been looking for my entire life, I hope more like these come out, I remember when i was a kid downloading minecraft comes alive to create my own village lmao, now its epic, and easy.
To clear up your color confusion. When you sacn with z things come up as yello= for neutral/ materials, red = hostile or green = friendly. So your tribemembers show up as green because they are friendly :)

Another good vid Kage. For all those popup windows you always close, there is a check box in the lower right to prevent them from popping up in the future.
The rabbits of unusual size go for your cooked food first. Put a fence around it to cage em in and kill them for meat and leather.
All storage reduces decay rate. Even the little baskets in the Gather's Pit reduce decay of berries better than keeping them in your inventory.
They changed it in release. Garlic does healing over time, and cooked onions give you instant health.
Archery range is a place to grind your ranged attack stats.
The npc glowing green is you using your scanner with Z it outlines your people in green and enemies in red.
Until the bear comes and you get wiped out.

Good laughs man the arguments you’ve been having w your villagers. Cause it’s been the same scenarios for me as well! Lol in time we need to be able to put certain items off limits or something that way not everything is broken down

To heal, eat garlic and onions. And if those wights come after me during the blood moon I simply stand on top of a rock and they can't get me 😊
If you change priorities in the pit/hut/house they will focus on what you want them to collect, and not gather stuff you dont, so if you reduce the priority on stones they wont break down large stones as long as you have storage for the large stones. Really good for your food gatherers, set them to gather stuff you can cook, let it sit there till just before it spoils, then cook it to renew the spoil timer.
Making good slopes at the angle you want seems to be beyond 2024 tech :) Even Valheim, as good as that was, struggled with making consistently good slopes. It almost requires it's own tool rather than leave it up to using the manual shaper deftly.
I find that eating a garlic and onion while you're lying down speeds up the healing process tremendously (relatively).
Kinda crazy how good this game is. There used to be a new survival game a week but they were all pretty trash. Now there is a new Survival game a week but they are all pretty much bangers in their own right.
The terraforming is top tier in ASKA!
Got the game and loving it. Only issue I'm having is understanding how to get helpers to do jobs.
I'm very pumped for this series, but a bit worried it will fall by the wayside with the release of the 7D2D update.

Really like this game so far in the early stages. The map seems so out of scale lol. You mark on the map a place that you are thinking is a long ways off then look up and can see the marker from where you are standing
They can absolutely eat your food… they’ll eat anything in storage even sticks and fiber.

Your NPC's are green from your resource scan showing they are friendly. Enemies will appear RED / Purple'ish color.
Rase the round around your village the bear will destroys everything.
The raven potion is a one time use potion and if you take damage while flying it’s instant over 😄
this is a lot like soulmask, assigning tribesmen to do chores, getting water from wells, harvest berries, collecting wood, sticks, building workshops and other crating benchs, gathering thatch, turning it into rope!! these are all from SM. Does this game have other features that arent from Soulmask ?
Landscaping is a better term than terraforming.....I kinda liked the Valheim paradigm, this one looks simpler. Won't know if it's "better" until I try it.

Someone showed you can pickup those rabbit things and carry them around. I tried, but couldn’t get close enough
He usually chopping long sticks when he has no axe, so he can't cut trees, can only harvest tree parts into smaller objects.

The map generation changes every update, so that seed doesn't give the same map anymore :(
Backup your save game if possible. There is a bug that they are fixing where the Boss Bear arrives day 15(ish) and will not leave until he destroys everything including villagers. There's no coming back from it as cold weather is upon you. It was devastating.😢

Waste The Blood. I want to see the raven form.
Just so you know, the game has decay and you can't turn it off. Which means the more buildings you make, the more upkeep you will have to deal with. A lot of the positive reviews came after just 2 to 4 hours of play. As they learn about decay, the reviews have quickly changed. They also thought it was cute to have an enormous bear show up without warning, do a little damage and then disappear as a "preview" about what's to come but ended up being bugged and would stay until it destroyed every building and killed every villager. They claimed to have fixed it but that's a pretty big bug to make a bunch of people start over from scratch. Hope your play goes better. At least you are getting compensation for playing it. A warning to anyone else though, it will feel like a job you aren't getting paid to do.
I just had the bear show up on day 17ish and he stayed a bit then ran off. Luckily I managed to stay alive.

I quit today because of terraforming, especially the bug with placing the Carpenter add-on to the workshop pit. Restarted two worlds because of that, then just quit. The constant problems with terraforming have gotten to me.
EDIT: Rage-quit again today... Where did all my valuable stuff go? Before going across the map to mine, I had to trade all my metal parts to one of my builders. Why not store them? Because the SMOLKRS were coded by a $#@&%. Not only they never stop coming, they eat COAL AND METAL PARTS, AND STONE.... WTF? Take my food, why they destroy my village, 24/7? They loot all workshop pit boxes, bloomery, coal pit, everything. Remarkably, they take nothing from my campfire rack. Tangent.... I came back from the mine, the builder's inventory reset. Why???
