Use Q when you're looking at structures that are being built and it will pin the recipe. Also the order in which you have them listed (top left) will be the order of priority that your builders will work on them.
upgrading bugged for me, I thought I was done then it says i need 3 logs but won't allow me to add them.

Don't know if it's mentioned. But fences can snap. start placing and get the 2 green cylinders to meet, then right click to snap.
In my opinion Kage is the most underrated CZcamsr that plays games.He posts every day and always locks you in
That big rock you found next to the mountain you need to build a mine there so you can go mine iron.
Funny you brought up the bear. I came to warn you. LadyZ and I with a guard on a tower got him less than half before we died.
My camp, a villager and myself were obliterated by a bear only taking its health down 1/4. We did not make it through winter.
My village had about 12 ppl only 4 survived 😂 @kage848 will need better defences, I also had 2 trained warriors for days on heavy hitting, I restarted the whole game now with a different strategy, walls, cliffs and will train a few archers ASAP
Yup bear got me as well. Killed me and 2 villagers. Destroyed a bunch of stuff. Got him down to half and he ran away. I had 6 villagers and 2 decent fighters. But yup made me start over. Got hit with the walkers at same time as well. Definitely need better strategy. This happened at night and I couldn't see anything...
@@timbaker2024 got him seconf time quiet easy with 3 trained archers. just 1 died. Also i prefer to fight with the stone knife.xD
I don't mind challenging survival games, but making it through the first winter of this game has been pretty brutal.
As far as I understand your villagers can craft basic tools and materials like the ropes.
Any idea how? I’m kinda stuck at the point where everything says that I need to assign a worker to craft tools
The wulfar have wolf like behavior. They will come up and pace around you checking you out before deciding to attack or withdraw.
Hit the nodes with bright blue rock. You get quite a few for free that way. They respawn, as well.

dont forget you can build and use the sled - its like the cart in sons of the forest, you can use it to haul 3 big items and some small ones
I love this game. I got to day 22 and i had like 12 villager. Gave everyone a 2hand club. I got invaded by skeleton, and i saw 1 of the villager KICKING the shit out of the skeleton since he didnt have a weapon. (Cause i missed giving him a weapon) 😂 i was frustrated when i first play the game, but i actually enjoy it so much now. It's addicting.

yeee i lost 8/10 villagers and all buildings except for one when the bear came. killed it tho, and am currently on day 37 with 17 villagers so its fine really.
You did a really good job fighting that wolf kage. BTW you should def go after that cave. Building the workshop will allow you to build add-ons to it that will allow you to craft armor so you can survive nastier things in the future.
I didn't know you could store food after it's been cooked.
this game looks amazing, it's rare to see a game in this graphic style, this perspective and yet have a good AI system that helps you essentially build a village. Few other games that have tried like medieval dynasty just never felt right to me with the static world and incredibly confusing systems, but this one looks good. I see a lot of negativity in steam forums pointing out many issues that make game not playable in long term, but it's understanding for such an early access game, it's more like a demo showing what it can be, not going to be fully fleshed out yet like Valheim, i'll keep my eye on it though. my biggest concern from what i seen in forums besides the bear issue which will be fixed is how tiny the island is which seems like it's going to be the main limiting factor to keeping it in "demo" form, but look forward to seeing how they expand the game and world.
IF you put the rope in the storage bin at the workshop pit, the builder will go and get as much as they need when building. I would also regularly grab 20 Bark and turn it into fibre, beause the woodpit fills up again fast
Fences will snap into place, you just have to line up the post and right click.
You can left click on food in your inventory to consume it instead of dragging it to your hotbar.
The big rock at 18:28 is a cave you should build a cave entrance there
My first play through was doomed at day 17 bear fight. My second one I'm prepared with 3 archers that have been training
I'm on day 27 survived. The bear didn't bug me and I didn't know that could happen 😮. Granted I kited it with a bow away from my village until it ran off at 60% health
When fighting, I run sideways around them until they attack, then I attack. Rolling takes too much stamina and takes you out of range so you can't retaliate. Also I fought the bear and got it down to about half health, then it ran away.
Destroying the wolf dens will summon Fenrir, half way dead he re-summons 4-5 wolves. I made the mistake of summoning Fenrir and had to remake the game due to he was right next to my base.

something special with the skinning, if you time it right, you can hold, and release, and skin a lot faster.
fences kind of snap. if you had built the gate, if you hover over one pole of the gate, it will have a green cylinder telling you its "connected". then use L to build last item, for faster placement of each fence piece
red eyes on the waypoints denote if it will be shown on your compass
@@stormquiverthank you for this! I did notice the ‘snap’ option and how the green poles highlight once they’re hovered over each other but did not know how hitting L to continuously build! Would’ve saved me a ton of time lol

Yes, but unless they’re assigned as a warrior they will still flee from enemies unless their bed is under attack.
If I restart my season I would probaply focus weaving loom. Winter was a fucking pain without clothes xD Also I just realised after the winter that you can put viligers on camfire grills. XD

Just wanted to let you know I think they fixed the bear, after it came the first time and fked everything up I started a new game and on day 17 it came but left after a while. It killed one of my villagers but comparing to last time it was not a big loss
Crafting personal gears outfit is hard and after the appearance of the Black bear, it’s over powering and I want to quit right after that. 😣
I had to restart my save so many times and it was 3 mins before the bear came had to try my best to get ready for it finally beat it after like 6 tries. But that bear is too op if you're not prepared i deleted my save at day 49 today because I did everything wrong and was based at a horrible spot
@Kage848 Is there any way to turn off the object highlighting that is occurring? That is super annoying. Not sure I would buy a game that forced this on me.

if you can kill the bear its not a problem XD
the dark areas are fog of war not the sea
So, i killed the bear… it was pretty easy. I had 3 shield warriors 2 archers and myself
All with basic weapons, (shield-club) (first bow you get)
Edit: forgot to mention, the damn thing hits for 45 damage and knocks you down, YOU NEED TO LET YOUR PEOPLE HANDLE IT i just shot from afar.
When it died it only dropped meat chunks and bones.
Would LOVE for these videos to change to 1h videos from 30m...
The bear is easy to kill, i killed the bear, on day 16, make a archery station, and craft a bow, and just level up ur bow skills to 20 which is easy, and once u have lvl 20 bow skills you can kill the bear super easily with a bow, the bear didnt even hit me once, i just roll when he runs at you, and shot him with bow

Wights spawn after you take that Jotun shard.
Bows in this game are SO underwhelming. The deal way too little damage for game mechanics, as it takes longer to draw, than the damage it does.
So there is a way to destroy wolfs den permanently, and I am going to try it by grabbing 10-15 cooked onions, as you can just spam eat those and they each restore 5% health instantly. You got to destroy the spawner.
You can put ropes in the right bucket of workshop pit.

it's incredibly rare to find any game that isn't 80-90% similarity at least with other games. Instead of thinking about how much similar a game is, think about how good it is that you get more games like the ones you like with different twists. there are clearly major differences between both games as well. however i am not buying this game anytime soon, it's far too incomplete at this stage, good for a demo but based on what i see in forum, it has very little content. if you look at size of island he's on, his little base takes up like 10% of island already, it's so tiny.
Its not a copy of Soulmask. But to be fair I think SM is a more fleshed out, and better, game.
SUPER-disappointed you stopped making content for this game. I didn't watch a single one of your 7 days to die videos...
Alot of theses games are copys just revamped lookalikes (bellwright)
Why when 7 days brings in more views
