Thank you to the devs who were kind enough to send me a free game key

What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for CZcams, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.
---------------------------------
This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

Kage.... When you created the big container.... The splitter and merger got unlocked
Before the wave gets to your base, dismantle the turbines and rebuild them after the wave passes.
Watching Kage with a terrain changer in his hand going way around his path instead of making steps. Hit my OCD so bad, I downloaded the game, started it and immediately ran straight towards the same spot to see if the terrain gun could get me up to the top. Used it in two spots and was quickly to the top. Oh Kage you silly silly gamer.
Screaming about needing splitter and having that in the crafting menu from the second he created the inventory.....
You can automate concrete by placing a miner on the dirt instead of a node.
Make a solar panel, it unlocks a battery building and a large solar panel which doesn't get swept away by the tsunami.
BTW, Shift+Click can queue 10 of an item in the workbench. < Literally wrote this just before you mentioned someone telling you about bulk crafting.
Kage, I'd recommend the following:
Have a dedicated Double Storage Crate for the Iron Bars and a dedicated storage for the Copper (and similarly for Quartz and Cobalt once you get there). Use the one each of the TWO outputs to a machine, one to make Iron Plates and the other to make Iron Rods. Think of this like an assembly line from Foundry, where you need a Mall and using the Double Crates to split stuff off, until you get a TRUE splitter.
Additionally, with the Wave wiping out the electronics, shortly before the Wave arrives, remove you Windmills and, maybe, the Ore Radar. You can then easily replace it after the wave passes as you'll have the resources in your Inventory...
Not quite, you dont get 100% of your resources back unfortunately.
You had other conveyor parts pop up when you built the double container. I thought I saw a splitter in there.
Something that seemed pretty important was to build everything at least once as tech unlocks are hidden behind them and you don't know what can be built from looking at a tech tree.
There's also groups of iron, copper, quartz and cobalt on the beach area at the eastern side of the island and on the far west. You'll see them when you go around some mountains.
The level 2 Solar Panel's won't wash away. Once I unlocked and crafted a few. I stopped with the tip below where I'd just tear down my turbines at each wave. (I only ever needed 5 so it was quick)
Fun tip: There's a small island offshore. All 4 major resource nodes are on it, and since you've already mined all the Sulfur (the only finite resource I've found so far) I moved my entire facility there.
(Use the ship to get there by crafting some small fuel cells with your sulfur. However, you won't be able to make Filters so - just a heads up I didn't have. (Wasn't paying attention and used all I had)
Somebody said on this game, the battery and the solar panels don’t get taken out by the wave. It’s only the solar panels that do. That’s what I’ve heard. Check it out on your own time.
The wave will appear every 2 days, if it starts annoying you just type /v 999999 press return and it will stop happening. Pressing V to activate the drone makes looking about over a larger area a bit easier also helps with building sometimes. Set up an auto miner on normal ground and it will mine dirt so you can make cement.
Funny thing was Kage ran right past the tunnel the first time and when he couldn't go up the cliff side he ran all the way around and missed the Copper
What i did was pick up the wind turbines before the wave hit and replace them down when you start again. less hassle than remake until you can make the power station that doesn't get swept away.
You know the tide doesn't really ho in and out. The moon's gravity pulls on the earth as it goes around. It cause bubble or bump in the water where the moon pulls it up and the earth rotates under the bump/bubble.
Keyboard v will get you a drone and the Analysis Radar will give you HUD compass as well as locations for all Large Ore Deposits.
On the west or south coast, depends on how you look at it is all 4 together, and you can place a big drill anywhere to drill the dirt.
On the Steam forum, I saw a post from the Dev saying that Large Solar Panels are not destroyed by the wave. I have not tested this myself yet though.
Your icons were blinking because you were not supplying enough power. Miner Mk2, forge, the scanner and assemblers all need X power, they say so on the build menu. One wind turbine is not enough to supply everything constantly. Solar panels only work in daytime (obviously) so either accept production ends at night or put some windmills out and try and remember to retrieve them before the wave.
I know youre already on 3rd episode but youd use the v2 container as a splitter. 1 iron input 2 iron output. Oh you did that at the end ahaha
I keep the Wind Mills next to my base then when the wave warning comes I go and "X" all the wind mills and go back inside and wait out the wave then re build them.
You want to automate stone?
Thats very simple - just place extractor anywere (not on ore deposit) and it will colect stone
they should let you craft a SURFBOARD so you can ride out the wave
The wave freaks me out to.
ít does do bulk crafting but only while you are looking at the bench
Experiment with your Wind Turbines to see if you get all your materials back, so that when you see the Tsunami on the horizon, you can tear them down ahead of time! 🤓
it looks like Planet Crafter
Planet crafter + Satisfactory was my thought 😅😂
Never ever mix ressources in one container if there aren't any filter outputs 😅
And you unlocked so much but didn't see the message on the left 😅
So your T2 solar panel will survive the wave.
"I'm not gonna lie" this game looks okay
bro i love your content! ive been looking for someone who plays base building or survival games mainly. i think a game that you would have a blast with is Abiotic Factor!! its like half life meets project zomboid i was just suggesting that :) keep up the good stuff
The wave is cool but it’s gonna get boring very quickly if it doesn’t kill you and just wipes your power items each time
If you only want one door in your base, when adding a compartment, rotate it so that the door is facing your current compartment
Or build out from the inside of a compartment.
Did you know you can press T and then type /v 999999 and the wave will disappear
Love that wave eveni if you don’t
I'm glad the developer told me there will be other worlds to play on when the game is released. The wave sequence is not for me! So, I'll just not go to the Ocean world.
For me it a cool idea for game but the wave thing is just silly threat. I'd prefer having some type of weapon and enermy threat than this wave thing. yes it looks good but really it just a pain to have to redo all your electrics.
Can you build the base up on a mountain to get above the wave?
No.. the wave is higher than the highest point on the island.
@@daryengreye6573 thanks 😁
Kowabunga dude
if you like this game should play satisfactory
