Another trash S tier item is Gun Soul. Every time I get this item I'm like "c'mon, not you again!". Plus for a high-tier item it's surprisingly common.
Two things: 1) You must have at least 1 curse in order to use the mirror that rarely spawns as it takes you to the "Black Market". You can't use the mirror without at least 1 curse. 2) You can get (essentially) infinite coolness with the Crisis Stone and the Cigarettes. Every time you reload with the Crisis Stone you are briefly invulnerable to all damage. Every time you use the Cigarettes you take a half heart of damage for +1 coolness. Essentially, you trigger a reload of your starter weapon and then immediately use a Cigarette and repeat until satisfied.
Quick thing about chest magnificence: Chest magnificence has no effect on the items spawned, it only affects the odds of whether or not another A/S chest will spawn. Opening or breaking the chest reduces chest magnificence, but leaving it unopened and unbroken, interestingly enough, will affect the odds of an A/S tier chest spawning for the rest of the run. Therefore, breaking and/or opening every A/S chest you come across is a good idea in order to maximize potential for A-tier and S-tier chests. Aside from that, this is a solid explanation of these stats.
Good video. I think it would've been nice if you also showed some examples of items that increase coolness just to make it a bit more demonstrative. I can imagine a newer player watching this and going "Uh, so how exactly do I increase my coolness?"

Just so everyone knows. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER REACH 10 CURSE. that "special thing" is so dangerous even the shopkeeper is afraid of it and closes his shop if it happens and you are in the shop. Just trust me. NEVER.REACH.10.CURSE!

For Magnificence, can you drop s tier items before entering a chest room (if somehow you know that it is a chest room) and have a higher chance of getting an a or s tier chest? You'd have to immediately run back to avoid the resourceful rat stealing your items but does dropping the items reduce the magnificence?
some items tell you, like shades revolver. plus this is the type of game where you should normally have the wiki open while playing, especially with the butt ton of new syngeries.

Sooo, about magnificence. Say i picked a A or S item and then i read it's description and/or used ot before, but it's thrash anyway, can the downgrade percentage be set back to 0% again if i drop it? Also, about coolness. How does that work exactly? Do you have to clear rooms without any cursed items, and/or don't receive any damage? Please clarify me on these two stats, because im so confused.
This game is fun, but so very frustrating. I'm at around 200 deaths and haven't gotten past floor 3. Now I find out that there's all this hidden stuff the game never mentions, including that I get kicked in the shins for picking up rare guns? I imagine that it's meant to keep you from getting god runs, but I think it wouldn't be too bad if that happened once every 100 deaths or so just to keep players from feeling totally discouraged

I agree, its lame in the same way that bosses have a damage cap or how enemies can take different shots to kill because of a health increase per floor.
With that said, there are certain weapons that can bypass damage cap altogether, like Yari Launcher, or Makeshift Cannon. Magnificence on the other hand doesn't lower once you've got an A, or S tier item. The only way to really bypass Magnificence is to pray to RNGesus that you're lucky enough to get a Seven-Leaf Clover on Floor 1.

At one time I also managed to get it on floor 1 from a black mimic nontheless and, unsurprisingly enough I was drowned in all sorts of crazy good items including clone and beat bullet hell despite the lag messing up my game. In fact, killing yourself on purpose with the clone is pretty much how you use that item in the first place - it's just extra items/achievements for you and one of the easier ways to get a Lead God achievement (get 5 Master Rounds in the run)

it doesn't show how much you have or gain when the skull appears. you can only guess how much curse you have unless you look up what items or effects you took to gain curse
It's just a preference matter... Keyboard and mouse won't actually give you much other than precisity when shooting. I can barely flawless the first boss with keyboard, but i can kill the lich with a controller, my friends are the opposite. There are no real benefits from one to another, but it's just down to personal preference.

No , once you picked up an A or S tier rank item, your magnificence wont change if you drop it.

I tried to go in a cursed run...it was painful not because of the cursed bosses or mobs...so many good items and guns...
Was funny cause I unlocked the paradox/old op af man on that run(cursed litch was funni)
my only tip is,
if you ever see a full metal jacket thing BUY IT ,
you wont even need hearts/armor you only buy blanks which are much cheaper
The only time fmj is useful in my opinion is with elder blank and all of the ammolets.

oh yeah curse is mostly melee because the game is all about guns not melee so it gives you curse when you get the beam or casey

Magnificence maxes out too fast. It shouldn't be almost 80% after picking up 1 strong item imo
