I like that Doc brought up the intangibles of Ben Simmons. Intangibles are underrated. That what makes Lebron, the Warriors, and some of these other teams real champions. That separates the great from the good, they consistently do that.

A super dope interview. Not even realizing we just listened to over 40yrs of stories from key moments in the nba. Doc is a living legend. From the 80's 90's 2000's 2010's and now 2020's...he's been a part of the league. As a coach and player...in the spotlight or around where the spotlight was shining...in famous moments and infamous moments. Doc was legit right there. Definitely needs to be a movie made on his life. #salute

You know doc used to be a commentator for TNT with Ernie Johnson and Marv Albert after he retired. Late 90's right before he got his first coaching gig with the Magic in 2001(coaching T-mac) he was really good. If you look up old shaq/Kobe playoff games you will hear/see him commentate. So I don't think he was taking shots since he was media before.
