All gone now ☹️....the laughter will remain forever
R.I.P. Barbara Windsor from yesterday (10/12/2020)
I love these lot so much, much missed. Kenneth Connor is one of the most underrated actors ever.
A lot of these 'comedy' actors are underrated as straight actors. Sid James was another who could do menace brilliantly!
Yes brilliant character actor.
Coorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…..
This is very interesting and informative about the carry on film 🎥 🎞 🎦 🎬 ❤
I was brought up on the Carry On Films. I particularly liked the two Kenneths, Bernard Bresslaw, Sid James and Terry Scott. They were all absolutely unique characters. It was casting genius by Peter Rogers. You don’t get characters like them anymore.
I don't know why, but the fact that Kenny C and Bernie Bresslaw were so refined and well-spoken in real life, so unlike the vast majority of their characters, makes me smile. ❤❤
The carry ons will always remain the very best in british comedy and are a true classic
I grew up watching the Carry on movies. I still love them and have the box set. All the actors were very talented.
thanks for sharing this great video clip of four comedy legends they were they were one off performers r.i.p to all never to be seen again we are now left with good memories what a carry on they had they made us happy with there acting
I remember watching Jackanory many years ago on the telly. It was a toss up between Kenneth Williams and Bernard Cribbins as to who could tell the best story, and Kenneth won by a short head.
They were both brilliant story tellers, Kenneth with "Will o the Wisp" and Bernard with the "Wombles".
Unfortunately today's children are fed crap like Love Island and the Kardashians.
loved all the carryons always watch them and always laugh great actor's all played their parts so perfect. ...m
Miss all these wonderful people, who made us laugh, we need them back right now, so we can laugh again.
.. Its the times, that won't allow us to watch these kind of performers
Good to see them back together years after the series ended.
Bernard Breslaw was huge!!!
6ft 7ins in his socks & built like a brick outhouse!
Sadly they are all no longer with us...I think Jim dale is the only one left...
Aww love them all, much missed xx
Wow I never knew Kenneth Connor was that short! He’s barely taller than Babs and she was about 4’10!
Yeah! He used to wear the big monster costumes in early Dr Who stories, when they needed a large "baddie" - I think he played most of the Ice Warriors during the Troughton era! Sadly missed. And Kenneth Williams in particular - complete genius. x
Guaranteed even after all these years ......CARRY ON.......LAUGHING
Why have them on for just that. Should have used the whole show interviewing them.
Wow, Bernard Bresslaw is a tall man. Kenneth Connor looks ever so little next to him. It was nice to see this group together. I don't know what year it was.
1987
Even Wogan looks small compared to Bernie!
When times were normal and worth living in.
Total Legend
are these people immortalised in madame tussards? theyre worth it
Look how Bernard towers over everybody !
He was an ICE WARRIOR from Mars in DOCTOR WHO in the 60s!
I will always remember Bernard as gort the giant in hawk the slayer
All sadly gone now......
Back when we were allowed to laugh, back in the days of freedom. Carry on tittering.
babs was a babe
Great great people and paid peanuts shame on the director id say this was 1987 Bresslaw n Connor died in 93 and the great Kenneth Williams in 88 That scene in Carry on Loving with joan sims Esme Crowfoot where she calls to Williams house Percivals is pure comedy gold in my opinion both born to play the parts the baby i dont know any baby ! RIP to them all Legends !
Sid & Kenny never got more than £5K a film and they all declined a percentage so they got nothing for all the TV repeats..
I loved Terry on the radio, but he was often uncomfortable to watch as an interviewer. Very sad that so many of the Carry On team, and Terry, are no longer with us.
None of you are no longer with us! 😢
I wish the hall of fame had been left on
only 1 left
Correction
There all gone to Heaven now
Every single one of them. Brown bread.
OMG! They all look so old (Except Windsor, predictably)...
Frank Sinatra Whoo??? And Paul Newmaann Whhoo??? Big up the uk STARS Genuine Good Actors & Actoresses
It's funny, in a way, that Kenneth Connor pretends to have a heart attack and leans on Bernard Bresslaw who actually died that way and both died in the same year too.
They were all offered a percentage instead of a salary & they all turned it down cos no one thought they would still be showing then on TV 50 years later, Barbara Windsor would have made hundreds of thousands instead of the £4000 maximum she got...
What year was this? I'm guessing around 1986?
I think it was just before they were supposed to start Carry on Again Nurse, so around 86-88.
if I was stuck in a left - I would want them for company
All brown bread
Bernard is a tall man
Barbara Windsor looks older here than she does now.
I agree.
I love the Carry Ons but that was awkward and quite painful to watch.
Only Barbra Left now
Sadly no longer the case as of yesterday 😔
@@andrewphippsphillips1455 Yes only Jim Dale left now.
Wogan is 6ft tall.. Bresslaw looks only 4-5 inches taller.. No way was he 6ft 7.. I,d give him 6ft 5 Max
+paolo hewitt Wogan's wig added the best part of 2 inches in those days.
I didn’t realise how tall Bernard really was. He was a giant
