Neat to learn about this type of template. I noticed that the cabinet doors were not aligned on the lower cabinet, so that the handles would appear to be at different heights once both are attached using the template. Noting this and adjusting the door hinges so the doors match in height would have been a nice addition!
I do need to fine tune the door hinges. However, there are a definitely a few imperfections from my first try making a cabinet - that I won’t be able to fix. But it gets better every time :)
🤗 THANKS SCOTT,FOR SHARING THIS, AND EMILY MAKES IT LOOK EASY…👍🤗💚💚💚
Thank you for your kind comment!!
WELCOME ,🤗 WELL DESERVED 👍💚💚💚
A wonderful tips. I have installed 2 handles on my end table drawers and messed up and I thought it was fine on measuring but it was not. Lucky I am the only one see the problem. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching and your kind comment :)
If you’re doing a bunch of cabinets, this is pretty slick. Nothing worse than measuring and drilling only to find out you made a mistake with one cabinet.
I’m always nervous with brand new cabinets with a nice finish too, don’t want to have any imperfections or mistakes!
I needed one of these a few weeks ago! While single-screw pulls are not that hard to do, double-screw pulls are a nightmare. Even the most minute error in measurement or drilling angle, and it's game over. They just won't attach. Thanks for the demo.
Thanks! I've definitely seen a few long pulls that look crooked. I never want to mess up a my nice smooth finish on new cabinets!
Excellent video Emily. A lot of good information.
Thank you!
I have always wondered how to center those, though many prefer to have the pull closer to the top edge so it "looks right" when you're near it.
The nice thing is its completely adjustable in all directions. So you can make it exactly how you prefer!

Love to see your home, lol.
Could the template not be flipped to do the other side without having to reset it? If it could it would be more useful.
Basically, you would need to take that piece off that makes it stay flat at the top. The other problem is if it's closer to one side than the other, when you flip it, it would be in reverse.
What is done with the folder paper? Am I missing something?
Thank you for the speed ups.
Not to be mean bc it was helpful but it was ALOT
We bought our cabinet pulls from Amazon and the tolerances on them were HORRIBLE. You need to check every pull against your drill template before you drill because they were all a little different. Lesson Learned.
Oh no! That’s frustrating!
I made one of these for 3 bucks...dollar store plaastic rulers drill holes
Is that Julia Roberts?
🤗 SCOTT, I SEE SOME INTERESTING 🤔 THINGS ON YOUR SHELVES AND I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE UTUBE PLAQUE…MAKES ME WONDER 🤔 WHAT IS IN YOUR GARAGE 😬💚💚💚
Waiting on the cybertruck to arrive 🤞
Really? It seems scale and pencil will be enough without any additional tools.
I think you're taking something that is relatively simple and making it overly complicated. Use a tape measure and mark the spaces accordingly.
Definitely an option. Some people like to have a little extra help to get things aligned :)
Agree. Watching this I was thinking how complicated she's making it. Way too many steps involved with her technique.
Well she's probably not as handy as others, but it's nice to have other options. A woman's touch is always nice. 😊👍
That's a lot of marks to try to remove/hide/cover later...
@@b_uppy Fortunately I had no problem erasing the pencil marks with an eraser :)
A bit to much for me
