Hey ‘mamas’... don’t forget me, a papa at 3am trying to get my child to stop making devil noises.
devil noises 😂
@@anahialvarez4248 it’s true. I think she’s struggling either trapped wind, and vocalises this by making cursed possessed noises 😂
Aren't we all the parent that need each other supporting moral now? Hahaha. All the best to 1st time parents. 😅 Including me.

New dad here - congrats to everyone who is watching this as a first time parent, I feel so proud to be a parent, as I’m sure you all do too! It may feel like long days, but also short years - so enjoy while we can!
New mom here, I had my girl 9 days ago and this channel has been so helpful. First time single mommy!!! Let's enjoy every moment before they're calling us names for not allowing their boyfriend/girlfriend to spend the night.
New dad here with you on that. I'm watching on the armchair with my 3 day old newborn. Struggling to figure this out but happy to be a first time parent
Ima a dad trying to learn 🤷♂️
Edit: this is 2yo and I never thought there was this many dads trying to figure it out.. salute to all the fathers 👏👏👏💪💪💪

First time dad here, of a gorgeous 2 weeks baby girl, and it’s 2:52 am. Sitting the baby upright does wonders! Thank you
Skip to 2:57 to skip all the way till she actually teaches
For burping there is 2 more techniques that works well. 1st: you hold your baby upright, while always supporting his head, and you gently tilt him from side to side. This worked very well for my nieces
2nd: you lay baby on his stomach on his playmat. Only works when baby is awake and moves.
(I hope it's clear, english is not my native language)
I'm a dad btw
Thank so much for this, I've been trying to help my newborn get her burp out for an hour and it just wouldn't come out, I tried the side to side and it came out! Thank you, thank you!!!
Can you explain more how to hold it? I hold the baby against my chest or in arms? And how to tilt ?
@@donataskazragis4769 baby sitting on your lap, holding him under his arms while supporting his head, you gently and slowly tilt him 45 degrees (max) left and right. Hope this helps
Sometimes nothing works and it just becomes stressful 😢
New dad here, baby just arrived late last nigh! Wow she is so precious. Thanks for all the videos, I knew nothing about babies but am so excited!! The hospital nurses are doing great at showing me what to do as well in person!
Had my baby at 4:20am on 2/11/20.
I am in love with him completely, and honestly couldn't have gone through the whole pregnancy and delivery without your wisdom. Thanks again xxx
Your videos have been so helpful throughout my pregnancy and now with my 3 week old. You are so encouraging. I love how you promote best practices, but don’t make mammas feel bad if they can’t do something.
New dad here, waking up to feed my newborn at 5AM and trying to burp him sent me here!

Thank you so much for this! I was struggling but these tips immediately helped. It’s amazing how the simplest change can make all the difference! I was doing all these positions but didn’t have the belly pressure in the right spot and wasn’t doing the upward pat motion. Game changer!

It helped so much I didn't realize how close I was to delivering and the midwife made it when she was half out....it was a 5min drive for the midwife. Thank you. Between you and one other lady on CZcams this delivery was suuuper with very limited "intense" time. Thank You!! 💚💚💚

Thank you so much for this video and I didn’t know about the gripe water, I appreciate the warning although it gave this momma some well deserved sleep after giving it to my baby so at least as a last resort it came in handy 🤷♀️ hang in there everyone!! The sitting upright position works everytime!
Thanku Bridget Tyler, for the burp technique,it was excellent, when I put my baby on the chest and did gentle press
Old fashioned square flat cloth nappies are my favorite spit-up napkin. They're also great for cleaning mirrors.

Thank you
This is right on time! My 2 month old is hard to burp sometimes & when he doesn’t I noticed he has discomfort 😕
@@joeydelgaudou2060 what kind of question is that? Does it matter? Do you think this is why the baby is difficult to burp?
I had no idea what the clicking noises were until I watched this video! Makes sense now! Thanks for all the amazing tips!
16 year old auntie to a nephew, my 19 year old sister just had the cutest little guy and dads not in the picture so she’s staying with us.
I’ve had the privilege to get to spend so much time and help do things like burp, change, and play with him to eliminate work loads for my sister.
Every time i burp him i can’t seem to get any and next think i’m covered in it, so this’ll help a lot, thank you ❤️💗
Thank you for this video, my newborn has been spitting up a lot.
Omg. Right on time!!!! My 2 week old is in so much pain 😢
Same!!!
We are experiencing this too. Its so hard to listen to the screaming knowing its because they're in pain.

Hi Bridget, thankyou for the rich and helpful content that you provide. I am new to CZcams having set up about 6 weeks ago. I’m a doula and family specialist in the uk. I have featured you in my channel. I have such a long way to go before your amazing success. Well done...your content is well needed for mums or as you guys say in America moms or mamas xx
I’ve been having this issue with my 1 month baby girl, this video is soo helpful!! Thank you soo much. I really needed this, I am a first time mom- I was feeling so helpless and depressed because I hated seeing her in such discomfort.
You got this! Being a first time mom is so intimidating!
Love all your videos
I understand why this happens, however since becoming a dad to a beautiful baby boy(1 month to the date). I've noticed that almost all, I'd say a solid 95%, of articles and videos that I've seen strictly refer to mom as the parent and then the baby as "she" or "her". The mom part makes sense to me I mean, moms are amazing and i already thought that but now that I've seen my wife in action throughout all this, it's just pure admiration. The part where most things automatically refer to the baby as a she though is pretty odd to me. I always thought people just said "baby" in general but most things default to a baby girl. I just think there's more and more dads who are actually heavily involved and hands on at home nowadays and we should include them as well, which obviously I'm biased but still, even at doctor's appts which I've been to all of them so far, the doctor/nurses exclusively talk to my wife and ignore me essentially. I didn't notice that this video she said papa's as well so thank you! Lol and anyone who miraculously read all of this, sorry for the little rant, I'm sleep deprived after staying up all night with my baby so mama could sleep and I'm rambling to nobody.
Dad here learning some tips
I wish I would have known it was normal for lots of spit up during burping. I spent too much time worrying about spit up!
Love your videos ❤
Where is your video on moms diet? I can’t find it thanks!
LOVE your videos! I am so glad you made a point about Gripe water, I had it on my registration list. I know there are other little baby medicines and postpartum medications that are suggested in other moms videos. Do you/ could you make a video of healthier more natural medicine alternatives?? EX: After Ease for contraction after labor, laxatives for after labor, baby shampoo, soap, sunscreen that has ingredients that moms should stay away from ingesting or putting on baby?? Thank you!
