Thank you for playing our game!! I'm really glad you liked it! 1-1 is supposed to be the original level; it's very difficult to add those crazy mechanics from 1-1 calamity. Controller input will be fixed in the next update, along with rebindable controls (hopefully)! And yes there will be an Android version in the next update as well!

I understand game development is hard and take time, but he said nothing about the game for years.

I'm a pretty huge fan of Level UP. They are currently working on the God Mode Luigi Arc, they haven't finished it yet, but they are hoping to get it finished this year. It has been pretty amazing so far.

I always figured a Level Up hack would be good. Figured SMM2 wouldn't be able to do them accurately with all the unique animations and physics they tend to have

BTW, have you ever played a Mario World hack called Steamboat Mario? I found it yesterday and thought it’d be the perfect game for a video since, y’know, Steamboat Willie is public domain this year.

@damonlam9145 Well you know how Nintendo can be about fan games, so I can’t blame him too much if he decided it wasn’t worth the risk.
Stuff like this should be thr future of Mario, unique animations when running past hazards and stuff. I'm glad Wonder started having a lot of animations.

These moments are really taking me back. If you look into some of Level Up's comments there are so many that say his videos would be fun as a game. It's sweet to see that it actually happened.

@@damonlam9145 Man, an official game produced by Level Up himself would be pretty sick. I can't say I'm not supprised though. Level Up seems to really struggle with continuing projects that are too big.
@@johnpett1955 agree, though that might take awhile due to his youtube channel and I get he might want to lay low about the game until it's in a finish state. As for the game I assume he is still developing the game since I mention about it in a comment and he liked it several months ago.

Mario was so mean to Sonic by busting his rings. It wasn't Sonic's fault the ring monitor was there. It must of been a agreement between Bowser and Dr.Robotnik to put Sonic's monitor there.

Having no idea who this "level up" guy was, I said to myself during the intro: "This style reminds me of mario animations that go around youtube."
Oh hey I think I remember some of these animations. Espe Sonic one . . . that one is a classic. We squooshed a goomba with a spring? Guess we can do that then. Secret Green Coin! The bob-omb glitched through the wall and killed you! Dangit! I love Mario's Little Animations, they add a lot to the game to make it like the video! We beat the goombas! Now we see some of the video! And it looks pretty accurate! Got the last coin so now we do the next level. We got all the coins! And we were too slow! Now we did it! We did it! 1-1 but i think there are some trolls. Was it just normal 1-1? maybe they will add stuff later. Now the pipe worked! Time to watch the video! Poor Sonic . . . Mario Destroyed the Rings. Next Level! So we play as a tiny Mario! Cool! We got all the coins! We beat it! That was awesome! the animations are really cool! And the person that made this did a really good job of recreating them in a game engine!
