I ordered one of these from the US to EU and expected it to arrive in 2 weeks, looked in my mailbox and it had arrived within a week. Lightning fast shipping.
6:26 might be the same material as the microsuction tape on my thnikk osu! keypad (Sewell Direct AirStick Microsuction Tape), for that wiping with a lint-free cloth and water is enough to make it sticky again, like it was brand new.
8:41 if the contacts are corroded (looks cloudy/green) you can use contact cleaners; personally i have a bunch of DeoxIT brush contact cleaners and they work immensely well at removing corrosion. as someone who lives in a country that's humid all the time, it's a must have for me. you probably don't want to use a spray type for PCBs as there'd be too much pressure though.
ngl i usually just lick my finger and wipe it then wash my hands
I did some research, and I think it might be what they call "microsuction" tape. The reason the tape sticks is apparently because the surface is covered in microscopic "craters" that act like suction cups. When you apply enough pressure between the tape and a smooth, flat surface, the air pockets escape and the tape forms thousands of partial vacuums. As long as this surface remains intact, it can be washed and reused. This is more of a physical bond than a chemical one; the important thing about the material is that its properties are similar to rubber, so it's soft and flexible enough for the suction to work.
This is the weirdest thing ever. Not actually sure if this is it, but it would be some crazy technology if it is.
For the stickiness not washing off, my best way of explaining that is, if you get tree sap on you it's really difficult to wash off, that's because water does next to nothing washing the stickiness off because nothing is chemically changed, but when you use rubbing alcohol it washes off easily because it changes because it breaks down the chemical properties of it. Even though tree sap isn't used in the sticky pads, it still followed the same principle, water doesn't change anything only the dust is blocking the sticky and the table. Hope this helps.

Actually i bought my simpad when u did very first simpad video (from simshop and it's the same device). After 1 year on using that, my keypad still perfectly works without changing switches or something. So, the 2 main rules to give more lasting of the keypad are: cleaning the room and have respect for your device.
is keypad keycrox good

"The average human attention span is 8 seconds"
By the time you said this, I was already reading comments instead of watching
this is actually a super helpful video. thanks a lot man. love all your vids.
mine popped off and i legitimately super glued it back in, still works
“i would usually wash this in the bathroom” umm spazza17, you are in a bathroom??
I’m happy you uploaded brother hope your studies are going well xqcL
thank you for this video! i have a simpad coming soon so this will be very useful for me :)
When I actually needed a cleaning video good job gamer. In my case after 2 months of using simpad v2 my first key is having double tap issue
is keypad keycrox good
From my experience yes, cheaper than any other site and based in the uk unlike most other sites, and delivery only took 4 days too
6:10 you could just use alcohol swabs instead of trying to take all the stickers out
I got my simpad around half a year ago and it kinda has ruined my osu career. It worked great for me until a few weeks ago but then I started noticing when I used the right key on sliders it would just randomly let go even when though I was definitely holding it down and one day the right side just completely stopped working. I had never changed the switches before since I liked the way they felt and didn't feel the need to so I thought maybe the switch on the right side was just worn out but when I took it out to change it I noticed the kailh socket thing on the right side had like broken off and fallen back and to the side of where it was supposed to be. It makes me pretty sad because I was just about to reach 5 digit and I don't have the money for a new keypad at the moment and I can't use my keyboard because it has an unbearable amount of input delay. I was wondering if there was any way you could fix the kailh sockets or if I would just have to save for a new keypad.
You can buy Kailh hotswap sockets separately and replace them yourself. You just need a soldering iron.
Nice Video is your Skin available to download ? :)
I take care of my osu keypad by giving it some water if it feels dehydrated then dump it into the bathtub for hygiene
Idk how to get my keypads responsiveness to be instant
you... dont need to take the whole sticky pad off... just clean it while its on.
My left key is completely dead and It's not because of the switches plus everything is clean. Is there something I can do?
let's say the keypad stops working, would just changing the switch help?
After all this time, Im still going strong with my ProX mini
My sticky pads wered off, Time to put souble sided tape on it
This is a certified hood classic
thank you i watched the whole video in its entirety its very helpful
with a soldering iron and a solder sucker a pack of hot swap sockets you will never have to worry about breaking anything if they break solder a new socket on
thx
I guys i need help
So i bought Ecarke usb mini keypad from amazon year ago and now i have huge problem with it
Suddenly its not registering the tap good on pc , i mean physically the pressing have no problem but it wont work and some times it register as two press , please help me i cant afford another one😢.
spiderman.
that was a good intro
how tf did i stumble upon a spazza video before the discord notif????
I don't live in the US and have to pay $30 USD for shipping so I can't get it from momokai :(
When my tablet becomes slippery i wash it with dish soap under the sink, no joke
wait does it have friction again after?
@@komical2581 well, it depends on what you expect, its not super grippy after but it definetly helps. Keep in mind that i have a tablet cover so idk how well it works without one, or even if it might break without one.
I also only hold my finger over the usb connection so no water goes in, and nothing went wrong in months of doing this, but if ur tablet breaks bc of trying this u have been warned.
The reason i think this works is because after 2-3 days the tablet builds up like a layer of hand grease and dust, so if i play everday, i do it every 2 or 3 days
surprised nothing's gone wrong yet, switch to just using a washcloth for better cleaning and avoiding damage when your luck runs out LOL
washing electronics under the sink has always been the biggest no no
The Momokai website isn't the official so you know
the video tells me to take care of it but the thumbnail tells me to hit it with a wrench
Remember to speak nice nothingness into the keypad to boost your pp performance
spazza's cam still looking hd on 480p but other face cam of other youtubers is not that hd its like japanese blur
15 Euro for shipping kinda sucks.. dont quite know if its worth it for me though im still using fake reds so it might make a difference...
Gateron reds are objectively better than cherry reds. Gateron's molds are simply better. All of the cherry "clones" are actually better than cherry themselves, that being gateron and kailh.

My problem is that my keypad (simpad nano) literally disconnects randomly when I use it, I had it for around 1 year, and it keeps disconnecting in random parts when I play. Do you recommend doing something, or my keypad just broke? :,[
try out multiple cables, it's the problem 9/10 times. if not, blow compressed air into usb-c port, then repeat with multiple cables. if that doesn't fix it, the port may be damaged, you can get a new PCB for $5 usd and it takes a minute to swap it out.
Any ring + index keypads tho?
*?*
Sweet tutorial man.
nice you actually made the vid
bro i dont even play osu anymore, hell i dont even have a keypad and im watching this, very cool
I cant be the only person that tries guessing the map for background gameplay in every video while Spazza is talking
@@ShokkoM ayyyy lets go
btw the 8 seconds rule is starting when we see the title and thumbnail so if we like it it will get our attention and be patient if its boring
Is the skin you're using in the video out for public? If so, I'd like to play with it.
It should be digitalhypno's skin
@@tibisuperlegoarms did he change the hp to be his name then? cause i assumed it was his skin based on that
There are different kinds of adhesives
is keypad keycrox good
Me who haven't moved my keypad since the day i got it O_O
It still works tho, definitely will take better care of it!
i play with ring finger, I cant buy this. Sad
compressed air is what fixed my key chatter :) i wish that there was an option to purchase one with switches soldered in to avoid that dust issue and give people with soldering skills another option, every single keypad is hotswap :(
inb4 "just use keyboard"
i swap keyboards a lot and tiny adjustments are easier w keypad
Mine isn't hotswap but I wish they are :(
@@seismixx what keypad do you have? hot swap is overrated when it just causes issues on these things
@@cjam777 what kind of issues? if u were talking about chattering, they also happen on soldered switches. it happens a lot on my hyperx and it sometimes misses input, i probably blame that to poor factory solder, and not gonna lie, i kinda burned the pcb a bit when i was trying to replace the key missing inputs
i dont even have a keypad but thank you
you got a new Zowie monitor again Spazza?
faxxx
wheres nilered when you need em
Ok but how do i make one
why do you have 2 switches for the same keypad?
middle finger stronger than index likely, it's all preference
yay
Liked before the video existed

I want the skin so bad please Lord Spazza17 please release the skin to be used by peasants such as me

@@dihydrogenmonoxide6748 Welcome to the club. :/
wonder if these can even last 2 weeks when you use them for osu!mania 😂😂
I bought 2 of them it felt weird
Of course I but them from aliexpress not from the website he mentioned because I dont want to spend like 50 or 40 dollars on a 2 key keyboard the keypad cost 10 dollars for one it's a decent keypad but I would say simpad keypad would be better than the one I got
osu player attention span is 0 seconds because they always instinctively hit skip.
Let's go
do any of you know a three key keypad because i use my index and ring
no but you can just get a numpad
Actually there are keypads u can choose how many keys u want on it. I think it goes up to 8 keys.
