I go with Mike Tyson's assessment that Conor did amazing for someone who has never been in an amateur or professional boxing match. That's like a hockey player trying to master lacrosse.
The truth is hurting Conor fans so much! That's OK. They're in the "denial" stage right now. They're experiencing cognitive dissonance and hallucinating. It takes time to reach the "acceptance" stage. They may get there, or they may just ignore MMA all together, because reality is just that painful and constant reminders hurt.

It happens man look it up. Not in the ufc but other promotions. They blame it on the extreme weight cutting. Its one of the reasons the ufc changed the weigh ins to the day before so fighters get 24hrs to rehydrate
once MMA gets to the age boxing is that might change. Imagine if the UFC never implemented rule changes , it would not be the sport it is today, I mean 12-6 elbows is just barbaric and there would have been way more deaths.

Mike Dlc Paula doesn't speak the truth. I can name numerous lies he has said. He is trying to build the hype so he gets a fight with Conner. He will get knocked out if he fights Conner. Paula said once that the stoppage was warranted because Conner didn't throw a punch for a whole minute. Check the tape suckers he threw a punch exactly at 2:08 in the 10th round. The racist/paid Ref stopped it at 1:57. 11 seconds after his punch. So rigged..... but all of the racist band wagoners and Paula don't want to recognize. Don't give him any credit. Check the film

First off, i'm a boxing fan but I enjoy watching MMA too, huge fan of both Mayweather and McGregor. Everything Paulie said boxing wise and about the fight is true in my opinion. Conor is a great fighter but he's not a boxer, major props to him for keeping the fight entertaining but he had no chance of winning. He managed to get into the late rounds and the ref did a great job stopping the fight, no point in risking Conors health when he has no chance, Floyd showed that Conor had no shot at winning. The "salty" Paulie thing and the trash talk is actually Paulie trying to make a fight happen and create a great payday for himself as he should, no mistery there. Thinking that Malignaggi is actually "butthurt" about a sparring clip is really silly.

Remember that? Well, Paulie has been challenging Conor to post the whole video to prove that Conor truly destroyed Paulie. But Conor or any of Conor's TEAM NEVER posted the full video. Uploading that video is so easy to do for Conor to prove that he wasnt lying, but he didnt do it. Paulie has been vocal about it and Conor isnt the type to be quiet even when he is being insulted. Conor was being quiet because he was lying. And Paulie is exposing Conor's lie.

Not mma guys. So then when taking the footage, lorenzo and dana were there to see if even Conor had a chance to at least land some punches instead of it just being a waste of time. The UFC has the tapes. Where Paulie has stated multiple times release the tapes where I gave Conor a beating and he quit to stop the sparring cus he couldn’t go more. Why then hasn’t Connor responded to those accusations? Why Paulie be so adamant and confident to release the tapes if he got a beating? If it is true that Paulie got beat? He would be making himself look bad. If I we’re Paulie and did get a beating I wouldn’t wanna tell the world a million times to “release the tapes” to embarrass Myself.

He knows his stuff.Conor simply doesn't have punching power wearing boxing gloves. He can't hurt you in the ring. His punches are little more than taps. If the fight wasn't stopped Conor would've gotten brain damage. Floyd hurt him. But Canelo or GGG woulda knocked him out cold. Floyd is one cool performer.
