If you let the rocket circle a few more times, it rewards you with random items. Like a lucky dip. So maybe click the blueprint button again, be a little more patient and see what you won. Congrats on 700. 😊

Be aware that it may be possible you have not made a Klei account yet, so there may be some trouble with that, when it comes to blueprints. At least, thats what i remember from back then when they first introduced them.
I can't wait for more! I've recently bought this game and I can't stop playing it. I love it, but I feel a bit like a headless chicken, even though I'm past 1300 cycles or so.
And because I hate the way my base grew without any plan or symmetry, I have to point out that your mess and farm room are 3 tiles high, not 4 like the rest you were making. It drives me a bit insane :P
Oh god that was bugging me too. My layout is always very particular and it was making me twitch lol.
This isn't affecting you at the moment but did you turn Bathtime back on in the Schedules? Without it, they won't use the Showers. And make sure they can only leave your Latrine one way (or sinks at each exit) if you want them to wash their hands. Also they don't queue to use them. If more than one Dupe uses the bathroom at the same time, only one will wash their hands. Check your Germ Overlay and see if they already have spread it. Since Nails is Radioactive they may have been passively deleting them.
EDIT
Speaking of Nails being radioactive, by itself, this isn't a big deal. But since Shine Bugs are also Radioactive, the game may give you a warning that your Dupes' rads are getting too high. Don't panic about it, the rads are removed when the Dupes use the bathroom, no worries.

I haven't whatched your content in the last months because CS2 doesnt interest me anymore but ONI is my all time favorite and I love love love seeing u playing it again!!! And I really missed your british accent! So I will watch ALL your ONI content for sure!❤

Amazing seed. Both solid transporters and the teleporter right near the starting biome.
It's kind of wild to see someone take the first starter dupes on offer. I figure after the first three you have to take what you can get so you might as well make sure the starters are exactly what you want. Not unusual for me to reroll them hundreds of times because I typically want them to have two or maybe three specific interests while avoiding particular negative traits. Like normally my researcher will also have suit wearing.
Super interesting to see the differences in the way other people play though a small part of it is because I don't have any of the DLC and don't have to worry about things like radiation.
Congrats on the 700k! It's always a lovely feeling hitting a milestone and I hope you get a chance to celebrate it. I'm very much looking forward to the series another Oxygen Not Included series.

The very beginning just jumps ahead when you see the blueprint thing pop up, had no idea what happened or why you did what you did there.

Full Toilet -> Morb spawn -> free polluted oxygen is a viable way to have "breathable" air.
That colony name gave me flashbacks to the early 90s. "Biffa.... Suave." Pretty sure that's how the sing went, right? 😂
I pretty much always create a "room" where I make natural tiles (which can be done with a certain method) and use pips to plant plants in those tiles. This "room" is in front of all bedrooms meaning if a dupe wants to go to bed or when they wake up they have to go through the nature reserve blasting them with a +6 morale boost :)
But since you need pips to plant wild plants it means in biffas case it isn't possible to do yet, so biffas plan for a nature reserve is a good compromise to be honest.
I love this game.
I play it almost daily.
Pay attention to the special rooms.
They help with moral, and some increase efficiency of dupes.

ONI is back!!! Hurray 🎉 Ioved the previous Oni series, got the game because of you way back in the day. So glad you're back to it! In fact, I'm going to go play it right now.
Biffa is making an asTEAroid city!!! Yay!
Remember to take advantage of your room bonuses! Id recommend moving the research station down to the printing pod for an easy and constant "lit workspace" buff, keeping it in a separate room will also let you have a laboratory there later on. I highly recommend you close off the ladder well that you have as an individual room and have your plants at the bottom! Once you get a park sign it'll be a strong nature reserve that your dupes will pass through constantly.
There have been some tweaks to the game so I would really recommend reading up, I took a year to two gap and definitely missed a lot! Based on how you set up your bathroom, I'd recommend you get the "queue for sinks" QoL mod so your dupes will wait for the sink to be open instead of spreading germs everywhere. Germs are no longer as dangerous as they once were, but best to keep your water supply clean this way.
I love that camerawork. Lots of movement and shifting. Nice.

I have to say, what a difference, Biffa playing a game, and he really doesn't seem to know how to.
Tip, the blueprints give different design options for buildings, clothing, backing tiles etc. One example would be a cot that looks like a car, or a lounger. You can totally play without them, but, in the case of backing tiles, why would you build the normal grey backing tile, when you could build a red, blue, purple, or stripey one instead. Backing tiles now add beauty too, especially granite ones.
Tip #2, schedules are purely designed around not overwhelming your toilets, as it's not feasible to build everyone their own bathroom, so most people build 3 or 4 toilets, and sinks, and schedule 3 or 4 dupes to be capable of using them at the same time. Of course that is only going to work for a shortish amount of time, as once you hire lots of dupes, you're gonna need more than one bathroom, and the maximum bathroom size is 4 toilets plus 4 sinks, if you want them to have a morale bonus from using them. You can have more dupes on a schedule than there are toilets, but it's inevitable that some dupes are not gonna be able to use the toilet before bed time, which means they'll pee on the floor during the night, which means dirty pee contaminating your clean water.
That dupe you hired, who generates radiation, will make everyone he comes into contact with, sick, plus, without the ability to use a sink, or wash basin, he, and everyone else will die, as too much radiation will kill your dupes. Whilst diseases have been radically changed so that they no longer kill dupes, radiation definitely does kill.

There isn't a need to set a high task priority on research atation because bumping a dupes research priority adds 10 or 20 to the task priority

Your automation on your oxygen generation is a bit unnecessary - it’ll stop itself at 2kg pressure regardless of automation. Since you have insufficient oxygen generation right now anyway (see top left), removing the automation is for the best.
