Really good bike overall. I didn’t have the street legal model but I had the one below it in orange. I added a little bells and whistles to it to make it street legal. Loved the bike.
Is that all you have to add to make it street legal ? I bought the regular X PRO Titan 250cc too and wanna make it SL
@@jackhydeirs3952 ik this is later but you need to add turn signals, speedometer, horn, tail lights, and rearview mirrors for it to be street legal.

You still pay 400 for the shipping and even more if you want it assembled when it arrives. Your looking at 2 grand out the door so this guy selling for 3 makes sense since he assembles it and puts the good oil in it before selling it to u.

Change As Much Of The Hardware As You Can To Lock Nuts & Lock Washers. Keep An Eye On The Spokes & Safety-Wire Them. There's More & I Would Love To Try One But Age & Finances Controls Most Of Our Lives! Please, Let Me Know How It Goes For You If You Have Time, Thank You!

I just got the new 2023 titan 250 DLX. It actually has 1 down 4 up as well as on’off and reserve. So far my son and I are enjoying them. Just wish we could figure out how to get the dash to MPH. The way you say to do it in the video isn’t working on ours.
I’m interested in getting one of these on Amazon or something but I want to get the make and model I would like the most is the Templar better or the titan ?

I think they changed the design of the new ones to almost identical to the std Templar except 232cc engine ( per PSM website)
I believe you are correct. I wanted this exact bike but it is not available anywhere now it seems. Just the more basic or off road Templer bikes. That said, the Templer X with a 6 spd gear box is appealing.

They don't ship them assembled! And it's pretty easy to mess it up, there's no instructions that are easy.

How do y’all get them street legal
Is this the pushrod engine? Is it overhead cam 230cc? Is it overhead cam 250cc? Is it 5-speed? Is it 6-speed? Is there rear shock damping adjustable?
Its overhead cam 2 valve 233cc with 5 speed

Do you think this bike would compare to other street legal 250s such as the wr250f? I like the blue Yamaha has and want to put their plastics on it.
It's similar in size, but it doesn't even come close to comparing to the WR250F in terms of quality. That's why the price is so low. But they are still good bikes, just not the type of high end quality like a Yamaha. Overall though, it's worth it for what you're getting at such a low cost.

That’s the biggest issue. There all mix match parts. Almost impossible to find parts for. Almost cheaper just buy another. There junk

Oil filter is a metal screen behind the drain plug. The other oil filter is a centrifugal type, behind the right side clutch cover (rarely needs cleaning).
