Public speaking is a big fear of people and she was so nervous she looked like she could throw up.
I hate it when the sharks seem amazed that someone has the gall to make a counter-offer. It's called negoatiations and happens every minute in business.
And scrutinize the entrepreneurs for haggling over 5% equity while Lori literally said 28%
I agree but at the same time some of these people way over evaluate themselves.
That's their tactic to keep the counter-offers to a minimum.
Remember this is a reality TV show, so a lot of these scenes are heavily edited. They can intentionally add out of context clips and make it seem like certain phrases or pauses occurred at a given moment, even when it didn’t. Whatever gives the show a little more drama, they will do it.
I guess it's a tactic so the person feels outnumbered and don't hesitate too much.

Lori was the right way to go. She saw the value in this product and has exactly the kind of connections necessary. Many of my friends are having babies right now, and let me tell you, not a single one has thought twice about paying 19.99 for a product that will keep their baby quiet.

I am the mom of a 6 month old and a specialist in early childhood development (0-3 year olds). This product unfortunately doesn’t wow me. Nothing about it screams functionality. Toys that are busy with a ton of things to look at, pull on, colors, and shapes are wildly overstimulating. Seems to be something I’ve seen on the shelves millions of times before.
Genuine question: what should parents look for instead? Like you’ve said, it looks like everything else in stores. What would be stimulating enough without being overstimulating?
