It's not that these aren't good ideas or that the sharks didn't know they were good ideas, it's just that they couldn't get a majority stake in the company for a minimal investment. In other words, the entrepreneurs were smart enough to not get screwed out of their company and product by the sharks.

You could say that but at the end of the day you are taking a risk that things work out for you if you turn down a guaranteed contract for the probability of making more on your own. Amy of these pitchers could walk out of the studio and be hit by a truck and paralyzed, unable to work anymore. Or the economy could crash, or your family could get sick and have extravagant medical bills, or there could be a weather event that destroys your current supply of materials/inventory. In any of those cases taking the guaranteed money would've turned out to be the safer choice. We just never know what could happen.
I think of AMC theaters. They spent a lot of money to renovate their theaters at a loss the last few years. The projections were that that would make the money back and more because now their theaters were a more premium experience and the avengers movies had people buying tickets in droves. And rhen the pandemic happened and the company came very very close to bankruptcy. In a situation like that, having sold the chain instead of doing the renovation would've been the smarter choice in that case.

It's made my life so much easier now that I don't have an excess supply of papers and notes. The Rocketbook app is so easy to use too. For people who can't afford an Ipad or new laptop to write on in college, the Rocketbook is essentially a replacement. (Wow this sounded like an ad LOL) But yea, I can't believe Rocketbook was laughed off like that.

The motion of constantly completely loosening and tuning would drastically reduce the life of the strings. Not sure it would do much in the way of saving space for a professional musician. I'm curious what changes in humidity would do to the neck alignment over time.
