Went yesterday morning till noon. I saw a lot of them popping up on the surface. I only caught 2 strippers but was hoping to catch more. But grateful I didn't get skunked. It was still fun.
I'm fishing primary at this lake area so my favorite was tsunami smoky joe 5in on clear body off water with wind range 7 -15 miles . On early morning and windy I'm go for cotton cordell pencil popper white body with red head.
Right now the water 6 feet deep but it slow comming down, hope the memorial weekend the water low enought to wade out again, I'm far away from home kayak storage and space not convenient for me.

How deep is the water in that area? Have you thought about using kayak?

Washita point rd, oklahoma search Google for that road at the end was a boat ramp, go to the lelf 300 yards.
