First trip to lake Texoma for striper, it rain all day til it stop at 7pm, I'm going out fishing and it on fire , caught some good number and it stop strike topwater lure, I'm change to jig and and got 5 til my lure tore.

Nice fishing sir! Was telling my daughter I needed to get them started on bank fishing with a spoon for when we don't want to get the boat out. At the two minute mark am I looking at Washita Point? If you're into catfish there's a point, that's kept mowed, west of you directly North of Preston Point, set up shop there for a night. We've also caught monster gar there too. Be sure to use steel leaders. Excellent work!

@@AntonioNQ I saw that. I tried your spot last Monday. It was muddy but I still manage to get 1 topwater bite. Maybe I could have done better if I had tried a shallow crank or jerk bait.
@@HungNguyen-pi5vd use a float 1-2 oz and tie 5' line with jig head 1/4 to 3/8 0z with 5" flute with chatcheau tail or swimtail, popping with medium retrieve.

I'm fishing primary at this lake area so my favorite was tsunami smoky joe 5in on clear body off water with wind range 7 -15 miles . On early morning and windy I'm go for cotton cordell pencil popper white body with red head.
