I've never gotten most of these weapons due to where they drop from. My first and only Pitchfork (lvl 50) actually dropped from the slot machines at Moxxi's.

Most of these are pain to farm only if you try to fight the boss "like it's meant to be fought". Most characters have ways of efficiently killing raid bosses like for Ahab you can just singularity grenade kill Gee or with OOO you can spend about 100E to start summoning Dexi and use the last wave with dingy to respawn the 3 badasses to find him and Terra isn't that hard to quickly kill even solo on any character. Vora is hard on most characters but with Salvador he is easy to fast kill with pimperhab if you want Interfacer or another pretty easy way is pimpercreamer. I do agree with top 3 and Norfleet as Vermi is pain to evolve and while you can fastkill Hyperius his drop chance is really low, Hive is pain mostly because the distance you need to run for the not exactly easy fight to get low drop chance for it, Ogre needs one of the most annoying arena challenges in all of gaming and Cobra is just Cobra.
For me I got :6 pitchforks, 3 teeth, 4 breath, 1 blood, a rolling thunder, a nasty surprise, and a neogenater, and never got one hide, which was what I wanted
I always thought hyperius was easier than terramorphous, I've never been able to beat terramorphous at the same level as my characters but I've also never played salvadore in the many years I've played BL2
I'd give an honorable mention to both the Thunderball Fists pistol and the Skullmasher sniper. Whilst they are not particularily rare, the farm to get them is extremely long. Both farms can be somewhat improved by owning the right DLC as you can cut a fair amount of your way for farming the Skullmasher if you have the creature slaughter dome installed and the Thunderball fists can also drop from Sparky, son of flynt who isn't quite as lengthy of a farm as his old one. The Farm for the Skullmasher is made even worse by the fact that the weapon will occasionally be dropped out of bounds or fall through the floor due to the nature of the fight. A redeeming factor is that if you have the mission doctors orders active you can simultaneously farm Legendary Loot Midgets for a shot at getting Gen 1 Pearls, random legendaries or unique relics, especially the Bone of the Ancients Relic which improves your Action Skill cooldown considerably and also buffs an elemental damage type.
Also: The Longbow You've gotta run through the entirity of the Caustic Caverns to the Minecraft easteregg, punch your way through the minecraft blocks and hope that one of the Badass Creepers will drop it. It's not quite as bad as the Skullmasher farm as you can just run past all of the enemies whereas in the Wildlife Exploitation Reserve you will have to clear an area and kill all enemies there in order to open a door but it still takes some sweet time, especially since there is no way to speed up your block breaking.
I think one of my least favorite farms is the Thunderball Fists. It's a 1/20 on flynt and a 1/30 on Sparky Flynt. The run to Flynt is about 10 minutes and sparky is about 5 minutes. It's a fun gun, but it's almost just a world drop gun, as the dedicated loot drops are so low.
Went to caustic caverns to finish the mission that gives you the heart breaker shotgun. A baby varkid started fighting a crystalik and in the 4 min it took me to kill blue and come back vermi had already spawned. Mind you I was playing solo. One of the most insane things to happen to me and it was very recent
Gunther Hardes it was hard for me too kill him too. I had just gotten my krieg to 72 and my loot wasn’t that good. But in the end I killed him and got a norfleet

I feel like one of the most rare drops for me would have to be the sham, it uses to drop like every other time, but after a few years passed it seems like that shield is extinct now.. I don't want to cheat for the shield cause I know if I get it, farming for the sniper will be so much better

If you make a level 30 character for Sal , he will spawn in with a hive level 30 every time , just if u guys wanted one for free that’s how u can cheese one, if u want a launcher at endgame just choose a north fleet lol
I feel like you shouldn't have placed any pearlescent weapons on this list. Tubby enemies spawn fairly regularly in areas making farming less tedious. I remember back when Doc Mercy had to have his loot pool upped because the infinity had such a low rate. I've farmed him for 8 hours straight for no drop back before the UVHM dlc update.
The bekkah should be way higher IMO ive been playing since 2014 and ive never seen one legitimately only thru trades and gib. That said ive seen every other gun on this list legitimately except for the twister got that has a trade. So should be atleast top 3.
Yeah. To give you an idea on how it is rare, on op8, it has a 0.3 percent chance to drop from a tubbie, and considering that you might get a tubby about once every 40 runs of constant save and quiting in some of the best areas to find tubbies... yeah
GEEZ Puma, when are you gonna give the Cobra & Ogre a break. I know the Cobra a bolt-action, but in my opinion it's the best bolt-action riffle in the game aside from the Godfinger. The Ogre on other hand, I know you don't like all that much but I at least know you acknowledge it's a cool weapon & in my book the Ogre is in the 5th best AR in BL2 but it's surpassed by the Hail, Kitten, Leadstorm & Bekah (I mean it in this particular order). Also, I thought you said you got the Cobra twice because I saw you have 2 variants of the Cobra.
Yeah, but because, it is a bolt action, it automatically is awful, and in the top 10 worst snipers. And, while I think that is not a good reason to hate the ogre, he doesn't like it because it is waaaaaay worse than the bl1 ogre

I've given up hope with the norfleet lol. And just recently the hornet pistol drops more than it used to. I would love a norfleet. Cool video dude.
Had a pitchfork drop just the other day. From a trash can beside the catch-a-ride between Goose's Roost and McNally. Obviously not DPUH levels of awesome but a legendary in the trash is a nice little surprise.
The sham takes really long to farm since bunker drop rate is low and the arab glitch also works with the hive and give the projectiles extra damage also
I agree with this list for the most part. However, I've farmed Saturn probably 150 to 200 times, and have gotten 4 total Hive launchers and 0 Invaders. I know it's my experience, but still.

The Norfleet is the rarest weapon in the game for me. Since to this day it has never dropped for me. I've gotten dupes from friends but it just isn't the same as one dropping.

I've been playing Borderlands 2 for a long time, all my characters are max level and OP8, and out of all my time playing, I've only had the Conference Call drop from the Warrior once, my patience paid off though, with a perfect parts Practicable Conference Call... Most of Conference Calls before that, I had my friend make for me in a save editor haha
I farmed for Flintlocks pistol like a moron. I sold it and went back to get it again and never got one as powerful as the first one dropped, and by the time I did I was so highly leveled for the area it didnt matter. So yeah.
I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and it has been a big help for me and my friends. I was wondering if you can make a pro and cons video about making the drop rates higher, but you can now pick and choose attachments at work bench. Maybe you can also recycle old low level guns into parts you can use on new guns. Also, there could be venders that can level up your low level guns for a special type of currency. Run with it, because I want to hear out your and your fan base’s thoughts and opinions.
Rakkman is actually worth it, because on the way you also can get the Gub and Sledges Shotgun. And it isnt even such a long walk. But for the TF, just farm Sparky
Not bl2 but the single hardest farm for ANY weapon maybe ever was the Ajax ogre from bl1, purely for the travelling and the pure grind. If you have one, then you are one lucky mutha
I love using sniper rifles, I also like using explosive weapons, so when I heard that the cobra was a sniper rifle and was explosive? I knew I had to have it. Unfortunately I didn't know the drop percentage at the time.Took me 5 hours to get the cobra. Not gonna lie though, I love that gun.
The Hide of Terra is a 1/60 chance to drop I believe. Now, apparently, the chance of getting a perfect Hide to drop (ideally, all Maliwan parts and Grounded prefix) is around like 1/90million. I’m not sure if that’s true though, just something I heard some people say. The Pitchfork is about the same rarity, however it can also pop up as a world drop like any ordinary legendary. Therefore, the Hide is rarer. The fact that the Teeth of Terra can blend in with other blues that drop being a reason for it to be hard to farm or a rare drop is stupid. If you are farming it specifically, you won’t miss it as long as you’re careful and you actually look. But yes, if you aren’t, it will obviously blend in. The Norfleet isn’t necessarily the best. In some scenarios, the Topnea Vladof Etech Launcher may actually provide more DPS due to its higher mag, faster reload and fire rate. Combine that with the fact it’s much more easily obtainable and is almost as good at hitting multiple targets at once, it can be definitely argued for the best launcher. Although Voracidous may be difficult to kill, and the Interfacer is desirable for Salvador, you have to remember that Sal probably has the easiest time killing Voracidous out of any Vault Hunter. Pimperhab? Easy kill. Grog+Harold? Very reliable. Infinity Pistol Infinite Money Shot glitch? Easy kill. Let’s not forget, Sal can also dual-wield the trespasser with another gun, transferring the shield penetration to his other held weapon, making for easy kills on the Chief. Even if you aren’t playing as Sal, there’s a fairly easy glitch to go under the map where Voracidous is and kill him from there, if you’re that desperate. There are plenty of speed kills and tutorials for Voracidous that don’t require an Interfacer. For these reasons, I don’t think the Interfacer deserves the spot it got on this list.
The Bekah is number ten? The fact that trying to get a OP 8 Boss Bekah (or any decent roll Bekah for that matter) from a rare Tubby enemy that already has a large loot pool of other loot should at least make it like six. I myself have farmed for a Bekah for weeks, and managed to get two, both of which were not OP 8. *Sad violin plays*
Well i tried the lootsplosion patch and midget patch and voila theres easy way to see rare weapons to drop from badass and bosses so no more irritating hours of farming after thousands hrs of gameplay

I don't have multiple high level characters. Just 1 op 8 gaige. So I have to rely on a lot of glitches to kill raid bosses as she doesn't have any game breaking dps glitches like Salvador or Zero. So voracidus is pretty easy as you can just get under the map with a norfleet and logans gun. Need a hawk eye or interfacer? Sure just give me 20 minutes
You can speedfarm hyperius with the gunzerker using the infinishot fibber him. I spent a few hours and got an almost perfect corrosive and two very good versions fire and shock

Terra usually is quicker to drop other legendaries like the Skullmasher or even a bee rather then the pitchfork or the hide for me.

in four years of playing I've gotten multiple Hives, yet somehow I've never gotten the legendary Invader sniper...

I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and it has been a big help for me and my friends. I was wondering if you can make a pro and cons video about making the drop rates higher, but you can now pick and choose attachments at work bench. Maybe you can also recycle old low level guns into parts you can use on new guns. Also, there could be venders that can level up your low level guns for a special type of currency. Run with it, because I want to hear out your and your fan base’s thoughts and opinions.
Gunerang and Thunderball Fists are a pain to farm since you gotta take a long walk
well for the thunderball fist you can farm sparky flynt in the wam bam island but it's still a long walk but less longer than farming captain flynt :)

Rakkman is actually worth it, because on the way you also can get the Gub and Sledges Shotgun. And it isnt even such a long walk. But for the TF, just farm Sparky
Not bl2 but the single hardest farm for ANY weapon maybe ever was the Ajax ogre from bl1, purely for the travelling and the pure grind. If you have one, then you are one lucky mutha
I love using sniper rifles, I also like using explosive weapons, so when I heard that the cobra was a sniper rifle and was explosive? I knew I had to have it.
Unfortunately I didn't know the drop percentage at the time.Took me 5 hours to get the cobra. Not gonna lie though, I love that gun.
The Hide of Terra is a 1/60 chance to drop I believe. Now, apparently, the chance of getting a perfect Hide to drop (ideally, all Maliwan parts and Grounded prefix) is around like 1/90million. I’m not sure if that’s true though, just something I heard some people say. The Pitchfork is about the same rarity, however it can also pop up as a world drop like any ordinary legendary. Therefore, the Hide is rarer.
The fact that the Teeth of Terra can blend in with other blues that drop being a reason for it to be hard to farm or a rare drop is stupid. If you are farming it specifically, you won’t miss it as long as you’re careful and you actually look. But yes, if you aren’t, it will obviously blend in.
The Norfleet isn’t necessarily the best. In some scenarios, the Topnea Vladof Etech Launcher may actually provide more DPS due to its higher mag, faster reload and fire rate. Combine that with the fact it’s much more easily obtainable and is almost as good at hitting multiple targets at once, it can be definitely argued for the best launcher.
Although Voracidous may be difficult to kill, and the Interfacer is desirable for Salvador, you have to remember that Sal probably has the easiest time killing Voracidous out of any Vault Hunter. Pimperhab? Easy kill. Grog+Harold? Very reliable. Infinity Pistol Infinite Money Shot glitch? Easy kill. Let’s not forget, Sal can also dual-wield the trespasser with another gun, transferring the shield penetration to his other held weapon, making for easy kills on the Chief. Even if you aren’t playing as Sal, there’s a fairly easy glitch to go under the map where Voracidous is and kill him from there, if you’re that desperate. There are plenty of speed kills and tutorials for Voracidous that don’t require an Interfacer. For these reasons, I don’t think the Interfacer deserves the spot it got on this list.

The Bekah is number ten? The fact that trying to get a OP 8 Boss Bekah (or any decent roll Bekah for that matter) from a rare Tubby enemy that already has a large loot pool of other loot should at least make it like six. I myself have farmed for a Bekah for weeks, and managed to get two, both of which were not OP 8. *Sad violin plays*

Well i tried the lootsplosion patch and midget patch and voila theres easy way to see rare weapons to drop from badass and bosses so no more irritating hours of farming after thousands hrs of gameplay

It surprised me how many times I got a legendary drop from a skag pile
I got the bekah, the pitchfork, and the norfleet, the a ahab, the hive, the ogre

You can get an interfacer from the seraph vendor in normal and tvhm plus you can get the lead storm,Hawkeye and infection 😀😀😀😀

I don't have multiple high level characters. Just 1 op 8 gaige. So I have to rely on a lot of glitches to kill raid bosses as she doesn't have any game breaking dps glitches like Salvador or Zero. So voracidus is pretty easy as you can just get under the map with a norfleet and logans gun. Need a hawk eye or interfacer? Sure just give me 20 minutes
You can speedfarm hyperius with the gunzerker using the infinishot fibber him. I spent a few hours and got an almost perfect corrosive and two very good versions fire and shock
