Here’s some info on my GSA first round audition, what to expect, what to wear and what the audition was like! Any questions please just comment on this video :)
Something I forgot to mention - the application is through UCAS and then they email you with further information and a login on their website to book your audition slot!

This is SOOOO helpful Thankyouu!! I have my GSA BA Musical theatre audition next Monday and I’m terrifiedddd but excited!! I’ve never auditioned for musical theatre before so I’m a bit worried but your videos have helped me so much ☺️✨

Hey. Your videos are so helpful, thanks a lot! I kind of vaguely remember someone telling me that at GSA they make you take off your shoes and socks. But since you don't mention that, I guess it's just a rumour, right? I'd feel a little uncomfortable doing that, so it would be a useful piece of information :)
Nea Ellada hi, i had my audition yesterday and they did ask us to remove our shoes and socks for the movement workshop beforehand but they let us wear them for the monologues :) this was for the BA Acting auditions x

Hey! I’ve done a video on it if you wanted to watch that! Just be yourself, enjoy the day, wear the same clothes as before and get a real feel for the place, is it right for you? Best of luck! X
this is so helpful thankyou! i dont feel comfortable wearing a leotard just because im quite big so will the others look at me funny if i dont wear one? just because im thinking of wearing a black t shirt and leggings

You need to wear tight fitted clothing! No one will judge you don’t worry!! If people do they’re not the people that are going to be successful !

Lauren Martin Hey! Best of luck!! Everything I said in the video is pretty much it! It was just basic exercises when I auditioned although it may have changed now :) just be yourself and enjoy it! X

Nope we did everything in 2s I think! And this was my audition for 2018/19 so last years intake X
Do you know why they don’t do ballet during the audition? X
Most places don’t, they’ll just do a jazz class as this is the most common MT dance :) the more dancier schools will do a ballet class X
