What is Jason Cundy on? He's usually one of the most insightful talksport presenters. I absolutely hate the dark arts of football and won't ever want to win using them or lose to them. It's why no bigger club has gone for Simeone. No self respecting club would want their team playing the way Simeone plays. It’s a part of football. It’s enjoyable when an underdog wins. The dark arts are a large part of why. Look at stoke, Burnley etc. don’t get me wrong it’s a bit worse when it’s a team at the cost of Atleticos but nonetheless it’s part of football

I didn't watch 11 men against 11 men tonight in Madrid. It was 11 men against 11 animals. Not a man city fan, but I'm English and wanted them to win. That was not football at the end. Take up watching boxing and other violent sports if that's what you like to see. It's not for me though. I just enjoy the actual football.
Exactly what did they do? The foul on Foden in the first half was just that, he didn't lead with his elbow. The second half foul on the side line was probably a yellow but nothing more. Foden rolling back onto the field kicked it off, most players looking for a goal in the last 10 minutes would have reacted like Savage. He saw Foden cheating and reacted. Foden was just doing what any player would do as well. It's the game.
It was a brilliant game, I don't know why people can't leave it at that.

If Simeone was managing Burnley…that would be perfect…but he’s managing Jao Felix, Lemar, Carrasco, Correa, Lodi, Suarez and the honest truth is his tactics failed and he lost while playing terrible football for the players he has…if I was Atleti Management I’d be against buying big money players like Felix if that’s how they’re gonna be used, might as well buy players for 5mill they can do the same job
